Yeah I’d agree with that I think. Frustrating for fans but a good thing really.

It’s not the update either you or I wanted but sadly things have not worked out as well as I’d hoped. Received a phone call from the school and my daughter’s been expelled. I’ve also been informed that a letter is going out to my employer requesting that I’m relieved of my position immediately. The headteacher also spat out the following “I hope you don’t sign anyone this window and that Big Dan Burn gets shin splints”. Not going to mince my words, this has hit me pretty hard. Was going to take my daughter out for an ice cream to apologise but she’s just kicked a football through the window and jumped out onto the street so I’m off out to find her

This was eleven years ago Not sure why ESPN reckon it was last week Edit: oh it’s also an old article https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2847754/amp/Ex-Newcastle-flop-Daniel-Cordone-impersonates-Claudio-Caniggia-Argentina-Masters-friendly-against-Brazil.html

Business as usual. Nothing whilst covering all bases so he can pivot either way depending on how the situation unfolds, so he can make it seem like he knew all along.
-
Think we’re the biggest club to have the most unreliable, uninformed press pack regarding transfers. Every other similar sized club or bigger, seem to have at least one reliable correspondent.
-
Some horribly sad news today. Curtis Coppen RIP. North Shields legend.
-
There's a thread on RTG ranking the biggest clubs in England. I won't put a link up, but they really are fucking stupid cunts. They genuinely think they're some kind of juggernaut of a football club. I'd give them some respect if they put their litter in the bin, the scruffy fucks

Isak only scored 6 in 32 games for Sociedad the season before we bought him. I know it’s slightly different circumstances but it’s still a risky deal, we dropped £63m on him and that looks a bargain now. If we can get this guy for around 40m and are confident he can play a lot fo games, then it could be another great deal.
-
Yup and as of their last game of season at the end of May he was still injured
-
Oi I’m a slaphead 😂 but I probably agree. What’s he said now?
-
Scalvini played 6 of 38 games last season. Massive risk
-
I'd have to agree, mate.
-
Honestly think the first proper signing we make will generate such a feel good factor for the club Cant wait for the NUFC photo spam, the shit interviews we do, the Eddie Howe handshake at the training ground etc etc
-
Hopefully we are preparing a bid, somewhere, for someone, maybe...
-
Random fact and probably a Giggs, our former player Daniel Cordone was booed & jeered in Brazil playing in a Brazil v Argentina "legends" game, as they tried to pass him off as Caniggia and the fans sussed straight away. https://www.espn.com/soccer/story/_/id/37407467/the-toe-poke-ex-newcastle-flop-dresses-fake-caniggia-charity-match
-
Caniggia to Dundee as well. Didn't last long before Rangers snapped him up he was ridiculously too good for them.
-
You trust that with the demands of CL and PL?
-
Edwards is such a slaphead

I'm actually really excited by this transfer and would be gutted if it doesn't happen Would I want this signing to happen at the expense of a RW or CB? No but just because we sign a GK first doesn't mean that will be the case. I can make those judgements when the window closes Trafford means that is the GK sorted for the next decade easily and he has the profile that will help us improve. I don't want a keeper to be good with his feet so he can play daft little suicidal passes like some of the lesser sides foolishly do but I want us to have a keeper that can present himself as a passing option when any of our defenders have the ball. Currently we avoid passing to Pope as much as possible and on the occasions we do pass to him he mostly shanks it out I don't think Traffords all round game is as good as Pope's but he's still young and will get better at that as he gets older
-
I'm sure he said St James' is his favourite away ground, too. Which to me, means he's choking to sign for us with Scalvini

Bet you log back in and check within the hour

Clubs dont make offers if the player categorically has said no. Personal terms might not be agreed, but certainly Guehi didnt say no to us.

Same here, literally find it boring now. Golf course until end of July sounds more like it
