  1. Past hour
  2. And he's much quicker, suits those breaks we like to make.
  3. Don’t think anyone is denying that tbf, rather is he the right type of profile to help push us even further. What’s more, at the likely fee, we are probably going to be left short in other areas.
  4. Another positive factor is the Swedish connection. Aren’t he and Isak mates? Would help with the transition.
  5. and of course nearly a decade younger

    Anthony Elanga

We paid £40 million odd for Gordon who had achieved nowhere near what Elanga has the past two seasons. Elanga has just turned 23 too. No chance he's going for less than £50 million. Be very fortunate if we pull that off.

Think he's got a much higher ceiling than Murphy tbh.
  8. If the choice is between a technical player and a physical specimen, Howe is going to opt for the latter. Players that check both boxes are rare and $$$
  9. Would love him, cracking young player. Howe will turn him into a great player.
  10. if true there's probably a good deal to be done given we've done so much business with Forest before he's a good PL player with potential to improve a lot imo
  11. Guys, it's not we see now, it's what Howe can turn him into, surely we've all learnt that by now.
  12. Same. Said Levy would have no problem getting rid of him, he got rid of Mourinho specifically so he wouldn't be able to claim he'd been a success because he'd won a cup.
  13. Just pay the £60m odd for Mbuemo man. He literally covers two positions. If there's still a chance to hijack that deal we have to do it
  14. Pacier and more two-footed than Murphy, I think.
  15. Elanga is a decent player already and Eddie improves everyone he coaches. Having said that though I don’t see this one happening.
  16. Would depend on the rest of the window for me, can’t see us being able to do much more business if the fee is big.
  17. I think he's a good player, in a similar vein to what we already have. But he's vastly over priced and if we have £50m to spend on a RW I'd hope we have explored our options elsewhere first.
  18. Wilson and Elanga. How uninspiring.

If this is the ‘big right wing signing’ then urgh
  20. 50m is a lot. Good player on his day, but we are not addressing the lack of technical ability in our team.

Me too, I think there's a very exciting player there. Maybe lacks a bit of guile, but we aren't going to get the really elite players when cartel clubs can buy them all. Would love for us to buy Lamine Yamal but let's get real here.
  22. I'd be content with this. Feels like a nice fit.
  23. No ta. Surely much better value for money out there.
  24. Please be a smokescreen
