  1. Past hour
  2. As much as the Mancs are fucking shite, should they beat Spurs there might be a party mood around OT and anything can happen. I’d still be nervy about that game if I was a Villa fan don’t think it’s a gimme with it being their last home game.
  3. Are we still going to pretend Hojlund will come good? Guy should be going on loan in the championship. £55m+ ffs
  4. I think they’ll draw at OT, they’re not really pulling any trees up.
  5. On the plus side the early kick offs haven't sunk my coupon this week.
  6. Could do with Forest drawing. Enough to pretty much guarantee they finish below us, but still have enough of an outside chance of overtaking Chelsea and Villa to motivate them to try last game.
  7. villa definitley finishing on 69 points. forget about them.
  8. Just emphasises how big our win against Chelsea was last week…Even if we drew that we would have been screwed.
  9. Everton with that cunt in goal and their fans would love nothing more than throwing a spanner in our works, it’s to be hoped we pull something off on Sunday, or will be a nervy last day.
  10. It's not just that, it's that other teams had to fall off.
  11. How do Spurs still have a positive goal difference? Has a club ever finished 17th on the +GD?
  12. In Italy clubs with something riding on it used to incentivise clubs in the Man United and Spurs roles with a deal on a player, a loan, part-ownership or something. Always maintained that's less 'cheating' than clubs nursing their way through games that they took seriously against others prior
  13. They did, if you only look at the names of their opponents.
  14. I'll hold you to this, Froggy! 🤣
  15. A bit disappointing given they were both drawing at half time but was expecting this today so it is what it is. Still feel there is a decent chance of a slip up from Forest this weekend and then hopefully we can do our job anyway. With the pressure on - Villa, Chelsea and Man City all have potentially tricky games last day of the season as well.
  16. Would be nice to beat Arsenal and go into the Everton game with only the worry of whether we'll finish 2nd or not.
  17. Fuck everyone else or expecting favours from anyone, we’ll do this on our own
  18. I guarantee you that if we win the final, we'll beat Villa.
  19. I still found it amazing that the bookies thought Villa had a difficult run-in
  20. A lot of Everton’s energy will go into this weekend’s final game of the season. They won’t play a weakened team, but half of their players will be on the beach when they face us. Its the old adage, if we can’t beat Everton at home then we don’t deserve Champions League (assuming we don’t win this weekend)
  21. We can only hope bournemouth pull off a miracle somehow.
  22. I also remember when we used to sneer at Italian football for this type of shite - teams effectively throwing games and not trying I’m going to go all Brexity here, but this is one of the massive drawbacks to English football becoming more ‘international’ over the last few decades
  23. If Man Utd can play a similar line-up at home to Villa next Sunday, maybe there's a glimmer of hope when it comes to dropped points. The final already played, go out on a high etc. But I hate myself for even typing that out.
  24. It is still in our hands even if we lose against Arsenal. Think Man City will be more concerned with tonight's results.
