  2. Surely they speak to the council and give them their plans, location, etc before drawing it all up otherwise it's a waste of time?
  3. Someone reasonably reputable (can't remember who) had said that they could have announced something like Man Utd did - they know what they want to build and where - but they want to speak to the council etc to make sure they will be able to do what they say they're going to do. Still, it's the regular pre-announcement announcements that are annoying. Stop setting deadlines if you can't meet them ffs.

  5. Brescia, Piacenza, Pescara, Reggiana, etc Takes me back to watching it with granda on Channel 4 on a Saturday morning.
  6. The much maligned Geordie Journos said the club was ready to announce something 3 weeks ago as well. That being said, they also said we'd sourced a new training ground
  7. I’d been led to believe something was forthcoming. No idea for the delay. Not that I know anything really, just heard from a few people in the build sector that things would be public soon. Agree with people though, don’t speak about deadlines unless you stick to them.
  8. No way can Shilton be blamed for the Maradona handball, like. People say he should have jumped, but he shouldn't have needed to. Without Maradona's hand it's just a simple punch away and he's getting it. He shouldn't have had to take into consideration that he might cheat.

    João Pedro

If we sign him for 60m, he won’t be a back-up.
  10. He’s not great; especially for what Howe would demand in a right-winger imo.
  11. Id be up for loans with obligations we can trigger or not trigger depending on how the player does. I think Villa were correct to go for it in January, even if they came up just short. This is independent of my opinion on Rashford and Ascensio, the actual players they chose.
  12. The acceptable three-year loss being set years ago and not going up with the inflation of transfer fees is very unfair. Wages to turnover is about the only bit that makes some kind of sense.

    Last Pedro worked out great!!!

Signing a back up forward for 60m plus is not clever business IMO. We can't play the PSR victim and then make moves like this.

    In memoriam

RIP. He's been battling serious health issues in recent times. On a personal note, I once met Uriah Rennie referring a charity game I played in at Sheffield FC. In all honesty I can't say it was a pleasure, but saddened to hear he's passed at what is a relatively young age. Despite how he came across that day, he's certainly someone who broke the mould for a lot of young referees (and across football in general)
  17. Did we not do similar for Ritchie? It wasn't a secret that he had regressed massively, but he was kept around for 12-18 months. I see no problem with Wilson staying, as long as we still sign some sort of striker.
  18. If PSG are saying they want €40M for Kang-in Lee, we should be looking into a transfer. He is good at dribbling and ball retention, creative passing, and he scores goals. Would be a nice addition to have a left foot on the right. ChosunBiz That would also settle the the rw leaving plenty of money for rcb.

England missed a multitude of chances in 1973. Waddle and Pearce missed sitters in 1990. Lineker missed a sitter to equalise in 1986. They all shit and to blame, or just Shilton?
  20. Cairney is daft as a brush. Milked being called out by Leeds fans to an extent where she's got herself putting her name to government reports on women's football.
  21. Understand that we cant bad mouth him or else his fat sisters will shit all over us on Instagram calling us ungrateful and unpatriotic.
  22. And with this bullshit it is guaranteed that we will have CR7 in the starting XI during the World Cup. Christ
  23. Believe it was after personal terms had been agreed but before the medical. But, iirc, also after Freddie Shepherd had gracefully told him to get stuffed in his traditional fashion. So far as I'm aware, a club can cancel a deal at any time before it's gone through, it's not like buying a house in Scotland...
  24. I mean, as much as the price of these things is insane, they're just heat transferring on the patches pre-shipment. It's relatively inevitable that some fail.
