Missed that chance just because he doesn’t want to kick with his right foot.

20 goal contribution in the league if yes that's obviously good. If it's all comps then it's ok.

The Europeometer™ (2024/25) - NUFC Qualify for Conference League (at least)

Man U have plenty of good players like, and/or ones that can do well in the right environment. I think next season will be very interesting with them.

I want as high a position as possible but I guess we might end up effectively joint with a couple of teams on points anyway. -
Yeah doesn’t look quite as bad there
-
Definetly want top 4. We'll be top 4 if we win, unless Chelsea also win by a margin of at least 3 more than we do.

May have been to increase his sale value?

A lot of very selective views here. So in a discussion about Garnacho's value, we're just going to ignore everything he's done outside the Premier League? And do goals against teams like Leicester not matter then? 50% of Isak's goal contributions have come against the bottom 6 sides in the league. Guess he's overvalued as well? A players season isn't defined by the league, so not sure why you're focusing on that. If that's the case, maybe we can just scrub the League Cup this season when talking about Newcastle? A 20 year old having 21 goal contributions is good no matter what way you try and look at it. No need to bring Yamal into this either, you're probably talking about the best player in the world there.

We overran you in midfield and won the game in 20 minutes at Old Trafford. We forced you into an early sub because we were destroying you no?
-
@Erikse is right though in that should they win tonight and move on to 68, there isn’t a realistic scenario where it’s Man City who stop us getting top 5. As in, we’d have to win to overtake them, and if we win it’s effectively all good anyway.

I mean, they should’ve been punished ages ago. Should’ve been punished in championship. If the points deduction is this prem season, it’s a joke. Should be next time they’re in prem the points deduction applies or in Championship where they keep taking the piss.

Yea, similar to some of the fans here. If a player got no heart and gone lazy, didn’t track back etc, he wouldn’t be frustrated by his own performance and hence got that red card and missed the crucial final, and disappointed like the end of the world. If he has attitude problems, he wouldn’t feel bad and hurt by those treatments during his last days at Everton. Some of the people here are just fucking ridiculous and I will never get shy to call these outs. Especially on Gordon case - did you laugh at Everton for driving out Gordon and let us got him for just 40m? Now you are laughing at yourself then?
-
I'm not saying we're immune to being beaten in midfield. You absolutely didn't run over us in midfield at Old Trafford though, outside of the first 20 minutes. As soon as Mainoo came on for Zirkzee it was a different game. Also if I remember correctly both goals came down our right, from two crosses into the box. The 4-1 game, where we rested half the side because it was sandwiched between the two Lyon games, aye you absolutely did run over us in midfield that day.

Dubs got an extension in Feb so will be here next year.

Actually really like it, going from that video

So if Man City win today, their result vs Fulham doesn't matter to us from a top 5 perspective. It would only matter in terms of getting 3rd vs 4th (or 4th vs 5th should Chelsea somehow absolutely batter Forest).

Yes, it would be great for Newcastle to win UEL, but not for Manchester United. Do you think with that expenditure and with those expectations winning Europa League gets you far? As far as I remember, you won it a while back and it didn't get Jose far... You seem to think like mediocrity would be enough, and maybe winning UEL or Carabao once in a while. You are one of the richest clubs in the world, winning (or even being in) UEL is a shame. It should be participated by clubs like Newcastle, Tottenham and Villa. And being "mental" about criticizing Garnacho: he has 6 goals this season in EPL. Of those 11g 10 a, 3g 3a in League cup against Barnsley and Leicester. 6 EPL goals puts you level with players like Rashford, Marmoush (half a season, Smith Rowe, Enzo (defensive midfielder) and Kovacic (DM). Hardly a great stat for someone with 36 appereances for ManU. He is winger whose only way to go past player is to run faster. I don't criticise Mainoo's performances, but the truth is he hasn't had a great season, and selling him now is not wise. Garnacho either won't be sold for 50-60 million like he was rumoured last year. They both, and your club, has had a bad season. That affects the price they move for. I don't want to start with Höjlund, because he is a championship level player at the moment. Dalot at least seems to try, but he is not a wing back. For the bold part: There is that one guy in Barcelona I hear who is pretty good. Even in the league Minteh who probably didn't know English before the season is doing better. Gordon is not an 80 million player, but he has had a bad season and has scored as many as Garnacho, while playing less. I am not responsible for what fans think, they always overvalue their own players.

Eddie is on record as saying he likes a certain number of keepers in his keeper pool for training purposes. That’s probably one too many this season because of Vladdy, but that is what it is. Gillespie is paid to be part of that pool, at a higher standard than a junior could provide, albeit obviously not really that near the level of the main guys. He also, it seems from looking from the outside, appears to be a popular member of the squad, that adds to squad togetherness, which Eddie values. Given his wages a likely to be fairly insignificant in the grand scheme of PSR, there seems little point in peddling him until his level starts to drop, he no longer wants to do it, or we get a kid coming through with a genuine chance of making it.

Does he ? If it's that apparent then the manager must have noticed. Perhaps he's giving him a free pass on workrate ?
