Bakayoko for me. Obviously can't play up front but he's only got a year left on his deal so you'd assume he'd be £25-30m at most. Playing in the Netherlands so assume he isn't on a huge wage. The overall package might allow us to buy a proper backup striker eg. Kalimuendo and have both for what Mbeueuembo would have cost. That's the sort of deal I think we should be doing this summer.

And the fact it's only 1 game on the Saturday rather than 2 games, 1 Friday and 1 Saturday.

As for overseas options, Monaco’s Maghnes Akliouche has been watched, along with Sporting Lisbon’s Francisco Trincao, Borussia Dortmund’s Jamie Gittens and Johan Bakayoko at PSV.

Looks like the Lower bowl sold out now and Level 7 in the Milburn starting to sell so best part of 40,000 already sold and the match isn't for another 2 months. Big increase on last years Sela Cup match where the crowd was just under 34,000. I think Elanga has the potential to be a very good player for us, especially under Eddie. Just not sure about blowing 50m of our budget on him.
