If you think about it sensibly with the JP deal nothing is going to happen until he’s back off holiday. They know Chelsea are lurking and ready to match/beat our offer it seems if they decide to go for him. If this deal happens it will be when they can get JP and EH together face to face or remotely and get a medical booked in quickly etc. Would be amazed if there is any further news until JP available for meeting/medical/contract sign off.

As a least worst exit strategy, I do like this sometime in the future. Swapsies are great for PSR, and we'd get about as high a level replacement as we could expect without spending a fortune.
