    João Pedro

Why have I just clicked an embed that says “talks for Joao Pedro at advanced stage” only to see it’s an article about us becoming a £1bn club and talks for JP are “advancing, not “advanced”. Lying cnt MD.
  3. Dr Jinx

    St James' Park

The Stack announcement would certainly point to SJP continuing for a few more years as is while a new stadium is built, if that’s the intention. No reason to doubt that yet. Am guessing any new stadium would negate the need for the stack after that but you can’t deny it’s been a massive success, would be hard to replicate that inside a new stadium.

Doesn't matter if they do, there's nee fucka to answer the phone
  5. Can leave us out then, we dont do bidding wars.
  6. Not sure if anyone has spotted but some of the UBP? Stuff on sale on adidas https://www.adidas.co.uk/search?q=Newcastle+ubp
  7. Yeah same. We’ve got such a clear weakness in the position so I can’t grasp why it isn’t a higher priority. I think he’d do well here.
  8. Couldn't they have just worked out a swap for Frimpong or included him in the Wirtz deal?
  9. Ah fair enough, I didn’t know we’d ever had a chance. Don’t disagree though.
  10. Because we were once very closely linked and I’m sick of Barca hoovering up talent despite being completely broken financially
  11. What’s the deal on player sponsorship these days? Could a Saudi company give him £1m a month for image rights or something?

Same Douglas article as yesterday. Recycling old bait.
  13. I think Madueke is the most exciting of all the RW we’ve been linked with TBH. Imperfect still but has everything about him to be an absolutely top player.
  14. The Prophet

    João Pedro

    Aye, editor mischief is that.
  15. Be surprised if we don’t go after him for that price. Although I really don’t think he’s shown the progression to command that sort of fee right now
  16. David Edgar

    João Pedro

We are ramping up, but from a non-existent starting point.

Next week, 1st week of July, middle of July. On and on and on we go

Being a “journalist” these days might be the easiest job in the world.
  19. SUPERTOON

    João Pedro

That is the third time this summer that Douglas has said transfer business will ramp up next week
  20. Aye don't think anyone will go in at that price, or even £30m less.

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

£85m? Throw that one right on the trash pile.
  22. Loving the Palmeiras fans tbh.

Wouldn’t mind an attacking front of Gordon, Pedro, Isak and Kudus with Tonali and Bruno in a double pivot in a 4-2-3-1 fluid setup. Would have a bit of everything. Dynamic and technical ability.
  24. Here's what the West Ham ITK said in full fwiw: "Reporting on The West Ham Way Patreon, club insider ExWHUEmployee has provided an update on the situation, with rivals Spurs understood to have shown an interest in the forward. “The most sellable asset that we have is Mohammed Kudus,” stated Ex on The West Ham Way Patreon. “There is a lot of interest for the player from both abroad and domestically. “We have already reported the interest from Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea and Newcastle, well there is a new player in town and that is Spurs. Daniel Levy is said to have made an enquiry into the evaluation of the Ghanaian international. “The club are reluctant to sell and at the moment the enquiries, that Spurs have made thought to be around £50m, are not near what West Ham would deem an acceptable amount. “The release clause is thought to be around £85m but West Ham may consider slightly less. The hope is that a bidding war erupts between the interested parties and drives the figure up close to the £85m mark. This would then be accepted with much needed money going into the depleted funds."
