That's one way to look at it. Or, you say they've only won 5 out of the last 15, and only 3 out of the last 10. Negative or positive, i suppose that depends on how one wants to look at.

Arsenal 1-0 Newcastle United - 18/05

Just seen Arteta kicking the ball away. Desperate, shiny man. In 1879 Thomas Edison invented light boolb. And I am going to steek this one, up my arse. -
Please lads - the thought of that Mackem twat at full-time after denying us CL is horrendous (no doubt after they go up the day before as well!)!

Seeing all these mentions about how many Everton have lost and conceded etc. but all form kind of goes out the window on the last day of the season with teams who have absolutely ZERO to play. If this were at Goodison I would be extremely worried but it's not. The only thing can scupper us is our own players letting the pressure get to them. They've proven this season that I'm the big game they have the balls to get the job done. We'll win, we'll get UCL and all will be well.

Eddie says he doesn’t think the issue is something that needs fixed by surgery. More like something that might need specific strength work. (I’m paraphrasing a bit there, so listen here if you want): https://youtu.be/2AHvn-e9RSM?si=VK9mgwARYXTIC6lN

It's a shame he's left sided/footed really. Him and Burn would make an excellent pair. We've actually missed his passing into midfield more than I thought, I guess because Tripps has been doing it recently and Hall did it until he got injured. But Botman was superb today and firing that ball between the incoming attackers and their midfield into Tonali/Barnes and Gordon.

Sounds like it'll be O'Brien and Keane at CB. -
2-0. Routine and comfortable victory.

Grand Old Angry Little Scrotums is an absolute cesspit. Their hatred of us is so bizarre. I hope we batter them every time we play them thanks to that place.
-
Imagine if Isak was on the pitch when he was letting it run past him in the half space.

Nothing to play for but they’ll play like their life’s depend on it, horrible cunts always been chew with these going back years. Add Pickford into the mix and it should be a bear pit come kick off. All goes well and the Mackems are still in the Championship and where back in the Champions League this time next week. The reverse scenario this time next week is unthinkable. -

Them and Villa fans love a non existent rivalry with us. We should take it as a compliment really. -
Thought he was our best attacker.

Yea, as soon as it became obvious how tight things would be I wished we got any other bottom team rather than Everton, they're just the type of team that relish this scenario, and they have the ability if we're nervy or lax at all, and especially if we go 1-0 up and go into the second half Southgate style, it really worried me to see it last year, can't understand why its still happening. If you do that, you have to counter attack effectively. Mental how we play sometimes. Hopefully we qualify and Howe has some more options next year
-
Burn has berm superb this season, but when he's fit, Botman simply has to play.
-
Our passing out of defence in the first half was brilliant today.

We are a very good team. At home where the crowd will be well up for it. My only concern is that we don’t take our chances.

That's up to us to make sure we don't. We tore apart one of the most in form teams in Palace, in a match when Isak should have scored another three goals. -

Those three defeats were all against teams in the top 6. They are also in all likelihood going to be missing basically their first choice defence.
