I apply pretty much immediately, not sure it makes much difference mind.

Applied for all bar two, got to 8 which is double what I was able to make with the ridiculous 10am on a Tuesday queuing system.

FA Cup replays have always been part of the experience. It's because the competition has been allowed to become devalued over the last couple of decades - semi-finals at Wembley, getting rid of replays in later rounds, etc.

Exactly. The last system was ‘better’ because you could cheat it. And in saying that, it’s not a slight on anyone that did (I did it myself). But clearly, it didn’t work as it was supposed to.

I must admit, I’ve never been big on FA Cup replays, it always seem to be a faff in the middle of the week game, long after the excitement of the fixture has been and gone. However in saying that, they shouldn’t have done away with them without actually asking the other clubs, and they shouldn’t do it so the big 6 clubs can be sneaking in extra European fixtures instead.

One in three in club career and a bit better than that in his performances for Slovenia (11 from 28). 6’5” and still not 21. Sounds like our kind of signing.

I don't actually buy into the fact we're looking for a player that can play across the front 3 because the striker role is such a specialised position, plus is it actually practical to have that sort of player as they'll inevitably settle into the position that they perform best in?
