  1. It's easy to remove money. He can pay himself back loans each and every window and it would only be £15-30m at a time whilst. It's also a year after the event when we all discover and nobody really cares anyway as we've discovered with past protest failures by our fans.
  2. Sorry for your loss Paully, hope you're doing ok. With all the shit that comes out of the club it's lovely to see what a star Rafa really is to take time out to do that.
  3. I don't agree that people are being told what to do when people say to them, they are wrong for going to the games. They are telling you, you are part of the problem. This cannot be denied. The fact is if you go to the games and aren't willing to do anything about that you are part of the problem. By the way, this season, I am part of the problem. I made the decision that if Rafa stayed, I would also stay. I didn't pay my direct debit on time and they still allowed me to keep my season ticket, so when I knew he was staying I kept it on. At the time I had hoped if Rafa was staying it meant Ashley was off. Turns out this isn't the case. I have however took part in all the protests including walking into the ground late. My little bit for being stupid enough to buy a ticket. I won't be renewing my ticket this time round though.
  4. Nah they'll be sorting the Pochettino deal right now for the summer.

    Sunderland

Club requested 5k but were refused by Sunderland on security grounds.
  6. Yep. Also prevents Ashley from blaming fan negativity should a takeover not materialise. People responding to TMG with vitriol doesn't bode well for the future, mind. Correct. It was going to be a pathetic attempt at a boycott, calling off is the best approach. Need to strike while the iron is hot with these things and in the end it all petered out. If another disaster of a window goes by, which it will, form drops and Ashley remains, the appetite will be there again in February. And it's not like hes getting a break, his stores are still going to be targeted over those weeks by the looks of the statement.
  7. To be fair they are still targeting Sports Direct which I'm guessing Ashley would have liked to have prevented as well. With the way our fans are who wouldn't even miss 11 minutes of the start of a match, the boycott was never going to be in big enough numbers to notice anyway so this works well for all involved. Hopefully the Sports Direct protests are as large as before.

  9. Can totally get your point but when Caulkin as well as the others come out with stuff verifying it, there's no smoke without fire. Absolutely not having a go at George, but it was him who pushed the Amanda Staveley story last year.
  10. The whole Turkish thing mentioned by the Guardian is surely just a rehash of the Murat Ulker story from last year as well. He came out and denied it then can't imagine anything has changed else why didn't he do it a year ago. It's all lies.
  11. This is the point of the protests though. Buyers are there and offers have been made which are fair. He has refused them or moved goal posts at last minute. The idea of the protests is to go, look just go. You've been offered the cash, take it, it's better for you and your business than hanging around.
  12. With Atsu and Murphy the only people banging on the door I don't think he has to many worries.

Don't they ask fans to vote on the ratings and they put up the average ?
  14. You need a good read of Twitter if you don't believe thats exactly what people will do. The "I won't be told what to do" brigade. Many of our fans seem to have forgotten who the battle is against and it isn't other Newcastle United fans.
  15. Guess we'll find out. Ranieri style of player ? I'm not so sure.
  16. Listen to Podcast: true faith forum - How to Take The Fight to Mike Ashley by True Faith NUFC Podcast #np on #SoundCloud Not in a position to listen to that at the minute. Was it mentioned what was cut from the minutes from the supporters meeting with the club ? Haven't managed to get through it all myself, only managed to get up to Luke Edwards saying 'the crowd should still get behind the team once they get to St James' as the atmosphere has been s*** this season' He's not wrong
  17. Isn't the supposed purpose of our membership money to pay for this ? We all know it's not, I know this, but this is what is spun by the club.

  19. Net pay around £1400 per month. Note the ad states you can up to £20,000 per year, which is probably on the proviso of unattainable targets. If the sum includes a hefty chunk of 'bonuses' that are based on 'moon on a stick' type targets, then that is fundamentally wrong. £1400 per month is not breadline, but I wouldn't want to have a family and a mortgage on that. By the way, I deleted my original post, because I didn't want it to come across as a sleight at anyone working in that type of job. In my book, anyone who grafts for a living is a friend in my eyes. Again can't really beat him with the stick against bonuses either. The SD bonus scheme was achievable and all FT staff made a good few thousand extra a year from it which increased for continuing to beat it. It did actually work well.
  20. Exactly my point. At the minute I still don't think he does.
  21. If he has dropped the price it's good. But the protests must go on untill a takeover is completed. Continue to put pressure on him!!! He's asking for £300m no clauses but doesn't say whether that includes all the clauses of paying back the £140m debt and getting shot of all the contracts he's signed the club up to with SD so the club makes no income more or less. Not such a great price then.
  22. The nonsense through the press today about him lowering the asking price must be totally ignored. He's used the tactic before, saying the club is up for sale but nobody is wanting to buy and that stopped a lot of people wanting to do anything. It all needs to be ignored. If nobody wants to buy at that price then he needs to lower it again. Protests stay till he goes.
  23. Nah. he's no reason to. He's getting abuse if he shows up even if the Newcastle fans didn't show which many still will to protest to the shareholders of SD. He owns the largest percentage of Sports Direct so he has little need to show up as he has the power to overrule everyone. He sold his shares to get his hands on some cash. Would not surprise me if he takes SD private again in the future and will enjoy getting it back for cheaper.
  24. Decent list here https://ashleyout.com/campaigns/embargo/outside-nufc/
