  1. I'll be honest, I'm pleased. IF (I know) they want to start running this club like a football club again then the large transfers they said they didn't want to make anymore, help the club make money through merchandising and getting our name out in the world again.
  2. Definitely an improvement. Hopefully they can make enough money from fundraising to continue to run but it's certainly a great way to increase numbers which is important if you want to become the voice of the fans alongside any board.
  3. There almost was at our place. Luckily enough people had the ability to stay quiet for 1 whole minute.
  4. I’ve said it before, this could potentially be the first successful MLS to Premier League transfer. Landon Donovan was canny. Didn't Tim Howard also come straight in as well ? I don’t think Donovan was that much of a success really, also I should have specified that I meant outfield players. He was successful enough that they brought him back for a second loan [period.

  6. We've only previously had that when we've been relegated though haven't we ? And that's always been paid back on promotion.
  7. how the hell does he value the cub at £300m then - because its a cash cow for the fat c***. Surely a club making money means it's worth decent cash to an investor
  8. There was mention he repaid some of his loans in the summer so there wasn't actually all that cash available. Could be why.
  9. Only if we fail to make payments isn't it? I imagine the club are using a loan to pay for Miguel Almiron upfront and are using TV revenue as collateral
  10. I hope so then we could ban cricket Now that's something I could quickly get behind!
  11. Good times will only return when Ashley has gone, and I assume most fans will request a new season ticket once he's left.
  12. If you are willing to sit on your hands tonight and stay silent and participate in no protests then I really do think you are part of the problem. I don't see any positives from action like that. You are achieving nothing except silently backing Ashley.
  13. Nah, too small. Never understand this,if the technology is there why on earth do they not use it? Big plane or small plane,if it goes down in the middle of nowhere every bit of information is critical. Financial i guess, it would cost a fortune to retrofit smaller aircraft with black boxes, that and there's millions of small planes out there now. Commercial airliners are regulated to the extreme nowadays and the operating companies would lose their operating licenses if they didn't follow the rules. Small private aircraft don't have to follow the same rules in regard to maintenance and upkeep. I see no reason why all brand new small aircraft can't be fitted with black boxes nowadays, but again i'd say the cost would kibosh that. Costs about £60,000 and is usually fitted in the tail of the plane and thats the old kit. There was talk of a firm putting some data in a cloud and that was going to cost $100,000. I believe it's down to all the regulations which is why costs stay the same so won't be fitted in none commercial planes.

Not really though. We'd need to spend £25m on a player for anyone any good. £4m for a loan fee for the other guy though and probably £2m for this chap, if what is being reported is corrected, is like throwing money away. If we buy these players and they do well we could easily add £6m to their values collectively and then the club, sorry the fat c*** is £12m better off. Unless Rafa doesn't stay and the next manager is stuck with them. Someone like Pardew or Sherwood isn't going to want one of these foreign fancy dans.
  15. Apparently initial searches saw sights of flares. Search had to be stopped though due to weather. Continued this morning.
  16. Yeah, signed then returned to France. Was due to return to Cardiff today.
  17. Yes. However, Longstaff was there last season and it did him no harm. Low pressure environment at a decent level. Play the mackems in Feb too. It'll help him get comfortable with starting for Newcastle United in full protest mode against Ashley really.
  18. Yeah, I think it's just hes not been paid for services or something thats why it's come out again. Don't think too many people thought it went so far that Ashley feared jail at the time mind.
  19. He'll be playing an equally weakened team if not more so, so probably doesn't care too much. Gives the likes of Woodman a run out.
  20. Even Stan Collymore is taking the p*ss saying if only people knew the half of it with regards to Rio and Ashley.
