I really hated Dalglish.

Chill Ha ha, its just all this on off s**** does my head in when a transfer should be as simple as this: Wise: Well hello there Mr Deportivo we are looking purchase Colocinni from you for 9.5 million pounds, so what say thee? Mr Deportivo: No, I want 10.5 million pounds for my player my good fellow. Wise: Ah I see good sir, 10.5 million pounds it is then my friend. Mr Deportivo: Good, you now have permission to speak with Mr Coloccinni. Wise: Jolly good sir. Mr Coloccini: I want £60,000 a week Mr Wise. Wise: 60 grand you say?, how about £50,000 a week plus a lifetimes supply of free steak bakes from Greggs? Mr Coloccinni: Deal. Wise: So Mr Deportivo, we have agreed personal terms with Mr Coloccinni are you happy to confirm the deal? Mr Deportivo: Without question Mr Wise sir. Simple innit? Wise sounds rather polite.

I reckon his agent probably touted him around and we said we'd be interested if he bought his contract out.
-
It's bad yes, but we'd be missing 3 of our first choice strikers so it's not so bad. We still need another target man though.
-
Maybe he grieves quickly.
-
Two injury prone central defenders, no proper left winger still, no defensive midfielder, losing their best strikers and the whole team is fairly light weight. They have a very soft spine. There's still a lot of work for them to do imo.

1. Man Utd 2. Arsenal 3. Chelsea Way 4th. Liverpool
-
You realize he sees us as offering "the contract of his life"? I'm still unsure about how much he wants to join Newcastle United... That's all we have to offer him anyway.

Imagine if the next development was that the Depor president kidnapped Coloccini's wife and threatened to kill her unless we pay up. That would certainly make things more interesting.
-
Just send Joey Barton over there to stab the Depor president repeatedly.
-
I imagine that was the face he made when the Dinamo Zagreb president told him he had to go to Spurs.
-
Surprised they didn't say "NUFC does not do transfers."
-
He was really good in midfield against Chelsea but I'd rather he was in the defence. Sign Burdisso too and then Faye can go in the midfield maybe.
-
Dennis Wise tried to be a cheeky cunt and cut part of his hair off so now he's refusing to come out of the cupboard.
-
aye ultimely the b****** won though didn't he Yeah the Depor chairman really saw him coming.
-
Didn't Freddie Shepherd comment on how much of a bastard the Deportivo president is to deal with after the Luque deal?
-
FYP What will be different? Some random southern journo will come out with a piece saying the deal fell through because coloccini found out mike ashley dances around a pentagram naked while drinking the blood of virgins and the usual suspects will lap it up like the unquestioning retards they are about how "I guess having a NO AMBITION DEVIL WORSHIPPER FOR AN OWNER IS GOOD ENOUGH FOR SOME PEOPLE, SHAME STANDARDS HAVE SLIPPED." Well wikipedia says Coloccini listens to metal so he might be impressed by that kinda thing.
-
It's because it's a drama queen's word.
-
If we get him and Burdisso (considering they can cover RB and LB respectively) then our defence looks pretty set for now. We still need a target man (I really hope Keegan isn't planning on using Smith at all) to help keep the ball at the other end of the pitch though.
-
Why are people still discussing this when they could be discussing Coloccini's hair in his thread.
-
We've refused to pay shipping and handling?
-
meltdown of vesuvius proportions when he signs for tottenham No just another old board vs new board debate. Everyone loves a bit of that.
-
was why I only put the links, so all in one post you can see some say we will get him and others say the deal is off. The skysports article is really old and the general consesus from the articles is that we've agreed a deal with the player, but the problem is that Deportivo want the 15m euros all in one go whilst we want to pay it installments. none of the articles have said that, some of them say we want to pay the whole amount up-front Footylatest begs to differ tbh .
