  1. Bt sports panel ..dear lord. it's like "youth tv" parodies from the 1990s hilariously bad!!
  2. Comes across as an almighty prick generally, IMO. 100% agree. In that one quote from this knuckle dragger we have one of the reasons why we (England) will not win any major tournament in most of our lifetimes...short sighted and so backward, Maybe he's making his play for the EDL leadership now that there is a vacancy.
  3. Think he will do well for them myself. Probably a good appointment for both parties...at this time.
  4. Still sitting at a 5. Consistently inconsistent is the best I think we may/will get. May be enough to save us from a scrap at the bottom, may not. Whole league seems 'unsettled' at the moment and despite recent positive results and a couple of decent halves I ain't wholly convinced by our lot.... oh and we still have an idiot managing us. I expect the mackems to pick up under Poyet. Barring the utter shite Palace/Fulham I still think any one of another 5 sides may be sniffing around the arse end of the league.
  5. Brett...? Is that you? Arf! Think it must be all the medication I'm on. Next thing I'll be championing MA and defending Pardew.....
  6. Have a very positive feeling about this game ...oddly. Fancy us to come away with something....Voted draw in the prediction thing, but actually feel we may well win this...and by quite a canter.
  7. Cracking finish from a lad who is a darn sight better than many of us had hoped when we signed him. Tres bien.
  8. Not again.....................................
  9. He's no Obertan thats for sure.
  10. Fuckin hate Gerrrrrrarrrrd. feel guilty about not wanting to celebrate owt the c*** does in an England shirt.
  11. I think Robson and even Kegan would have wanted Hatem to waste less time and pass it more often to his team mates than telling him to go and take the whole opposing team on his own. Robson used to get frustrated with Laurent Robert sometimes for similar reasons to Hatem even though the latter is more wasteful at times. Imagine Hatem Ben Arfa under Grahame Souness (Not that there is anything wrong with a man loving a man in a loving and fully engaged reciprocal relationship......)
  12. If that is the case we deserve all we fucking get.
  13. Top bloke, good pro and a very, very good LB for us.
  14. Get the feeling "Ashley supports Sunderland" would not even generate a response with some! No the usual appeasers would still be coming out with the same tepid statements of support for him and still be in denial over what is happening. All wrapped up in the flag of " I support NUFC whatever happens" of course. Nothing is going to change anyone's minds it would seem. The camp of those who can't separate supporting NUFC with seeing themselves as actively underpinning this rotten regime, don't appear to have any tipping points at all. Likewise, In fairness, those of us in opposite camp: IE those who have had enough and wont be back or financially add anything to the club we love until they are gone, probably are well past the point of no return for the regime. There is probably nowt they could do to convince me they had the best intentions at heart for the club. Seems we will have to agree to disagree. Loyalty I guess means different things to different people. I cannot personally get my head around the position of the collaborators, or the appeasers at all mind. Battered wives syndrome springs to mind. This rotten, vile owner and regime know a % will just keep coming back for more slaps and black eyes, whilst they piss themselves laughing at the victims. As for the window activity "not arsed ether way". Nothing matters until things change at the top. We have an owner who doesn't want to be one, an ineffective, inept and corrupt manager who is a puppet, and a DOF who is simply a two fingered gesture to us. Signings or selling players is largely irrelevant, we are going nowhere until this is changed....Treading water. Standing still, which is actually taking the club in a backwards momentum in the real term.
  15. Amazed at this....now can we see out January with him too? When you see some of the others bought in this window, for daft money, can't fathom out no interest in him. Head and shoulders our best player and head and shoulders above some of the players who have moved too. imo.
  16. They're all frantically preparing posts about last January. So true...
