At one point in the first half he carried the ball about 50 yards and Isak is screaming to be played in. Not once did I have any faith in him being able to slot a fairly simple ball into his path, just sat back and waited for him to eventually lose possession. Which he promptly did. Sick of watching him and sick of the excuses people make for him. We know he's a lovely lad and he's a grafter and he's had injuries and he's low on confidence and he's tired and he gives his all... Ultimately he's just not very good and is still starting. To be honest it's Howe that I've got the main issue with as he's the one who picks him regardless every fucking week

Effort from Joelinton once he was robbed was abysmal. Lost it in a dangerous position and just jogged back despite them getting bodies in the box. By the time the ball ends up in the net he's STILL 6 yards outside of the box. At this level that's borderline disgraceful

Canny concerning that we're so far away from the levels required so early in the season. And I'm talking physically and technically here - we're miles away, slow and weak in possession, no zip to any of the players, no pressing as a unit, nothing. We look absolutely fucked. 9 points out of 9 with all 3 wins coming with a clean sheet isn't to be sniffed at. Not sure they'll stay there but they've got a little platform, if they spend their Clarke money well they've got a chance, the standard of that league is shocking and any remotely decent squad can get themselves up
