    Tino Livramento

Really early obviously and we'll not know until it's been scanned etc. But the fact he got up and continued playing for a few minutes would suggest it's not massively serious. Fully aware it can still be serious and he's able to limp on, I'm trying to be positive. When he went down for the second time he didn't look in absolute agony either, looked pissed off and knew he was coming off but not thumping the ground in pain etc. Fingers crossed for him it's not as bad as we all fear. Also need Hall to get back asap, it's just one thing after another atm, Hall is gradually introduced again then Tino gets carried off. Just can't seem to catch a break

Love him so far but he's far too honest. Needs to learn how to win decisions in this league and that means stooping low and playing the ref game. Was trying way too hard to stay on his feet despite being shoved and smashed from pillar to post this afternoon Be a cunt, Nick lad, no fucker likes us anyway
  3. I do think the way the game panned out was as a result of us taking the lead so early. Going ahead on about 30 mins basically set the tone of the game for the last hour. It gave us something to hang on to and defend and it also meant Arsenal had to step up the pace a bit and move forward quicker and put us under more pressure despite being away from home. Had Nick nodded it into Raya's hands then I think the game would have been completely different - goals change games and, whilst not being particularly pretty, I can see how the second half unfolded the way that it did. Their goals had been in the post from the 40th minute onwards

Kept us in it then made a huge mental mistake and cost us a point. Not going to pile in on him as he'll be feeling shitter than most tonight but not killing another 30 seconds by holding on to it and staying nice and calm has ultimately cost us
  5. 'Not his type of football'? Guess what Nick, every CB in the league is going to try it now you've said you don't like it
  6. I think the fact there's still some disagreement about how many players were in our back line suggests it was a bit of a mess and certainly didn't function as it was drawn up in the bootroom all week. Difficult to get the full picture without being in the ground but it looked like a throwback to the 4th season where Tripper (Tino this afternoon obviously) pushed up and Burn tucked in a little centrally. Burn relied on cover from Joelinton and Gordon to try and cope with Saka and it looked a bit of a horse's arse in all honesty. Eze could have killed us in the first half
  7. Struggling to remember a more frustrating pre-season/start to a season than this one. We stumble over the line to get CL We miss out on loads of targets over the summer Isak spits his dummy creating more pressure to get bodies in We lose out on further players We don't finish Villa off despite them being poor and down to 10 Lose last minute to those cunts despite almost salvaging a draw despite Gordon's stupidity Lose Wissa and Ramsey before they've barely kicked a ball for us to put the squad under even more pressure 4/6 from Leeds and Wolves (that's fine) Barca sorted us out Battling point away at Bournemouth And now yet another kick in the knackers down to Pope's poor decision to release it early A lot of it is self-inflicted too which is the most annoying thing. We're sooo fucking close but something inevitably happens or we get a red card or just can't see injury time out. We could be looking pretty in the league with just a few tiny things happening differently but I'm already just about done with it, absolutely sick as fuck right now
  8. When you're ready lads...
  9. He's now starting to pay the price for his shitty behaviour over the course of the summer. He took the choice to go on strike to force a move through and it's meant it's completely fucked one of his prime seasons. He's looked pretty dreadful so far this season as a direct consequence of the way he's gone about things, stay or go - deliberately sitting out a pre-season is nothing but self-sabotage for his career. He'll still score a fair few this season but if he'd just kept his head down, been professional and put the hard work in over June and July he'd be flying right now. But he didn't. And he's not. Actions have consequences, cunt
  10. Agree 100%, but... more games, more tickets, more fans, more tv money, more adverts, more interest, more teams, more hype = more money. And that's all that seems to matter. Money wins
  11. Mad how often they look into the transparent bowl regularly then (randomly) pick out the balls
  12. Comfortable night in the end. Thought we did a lot of things really well in 2/3 of the field but the finishing (despite scoring 4) was a bit shit tbh. I know it's a bit much to be moaning about the lack of cutting edge after scoring 4 but we genuinely were wasteful and it could have been 8 or 9 . No matter, we're in the next round and hopefully getting another home draw. Good win but could have been even better, we're not far away from clicking and giving someone a fucking pasting

    Dogawful Officiating

It's not the decision itself that's annoyed me tbh. It was a shirt pull and it should, technically, have been a pen. That pull happens in the centre circle and it's a free-kick pretty much every time. He did have his shirt pulled but I must admit he did collapse a little too easily and I'm not a fan of just collapsing but I can understand why he did it, especially in the box. My main gripe with not giving it today is that I know for a fact that certain other teams will get that call at some points this season. Some teams will appeal for that, it will be given on the field and VAR will 100% confirm it and it'll be completely justified and swept under the carpet and universally accepted as a correct decision and we'll never see it or hear any fuss about it ever again. Some clubs (probably playing in red) will get that exact decision and get a free goal as a result. And that's what's pissing me off
  14. Think he's suffering a bit from Rafa's short blanket for the time being. We look solid and assured defensively but it's pretty bland going forward. Can't blame him and the injury to Wissa before he's even kicked a ball for us is a major kick in the knackers too. We've only conceded to Liverpool and Barca so far but taking just 3 points from Villa, Leeds and Bournemouth away seems a little light. He'll get it right once we have more options. Just feels like we're still waiting for it to click, we can't find third gear yet

    Nick Pope

No, I accept that. He's never going to step into the middle third and act as another auxiliary CB and start knocking it about the back line, he's not capable of that. I'm just saying if he keeps it simple, uses his throws/bowls out and avoids risk (whilst still saving most of the shots he faces) then him launching it 3 or 4 times a game isn't the end of the world. Ideally he'd be able to do it all but doing what he's currently doing isn't costing us anything and Liverpool and Barca are the only teams to score past him so far
  16. Needs and deserves a week off completely. He's more than done his job so far and others need to step in and let him rest for a week, he's running through brick walls so far this season and will need to rest now and again to keep him fresh

    Nick Pope

Brilliant save at the death with the free-kick - looked a little clumsy but he got everything behind it and shovelled it away from danger. Bounced directly in front of him too which made a good save even better. He just needs to keep it simple and make good decisions. If he can bowl it out then do so, short kicks into defenders who have the time is fine too - if he absolutely needs to smash it long and out for a throw then do it and then we can try and pen them in as a result of his hoof. Just clear, risk-averse decisions and stop most shots on target and we're golden

    Joe Willock

Struggles to stay fit and when he does manage to do that he struggles to make any kind of impact in games these days. Not his fault, he just needs to be moved on and get a fresh start somewhere else - bit like Longstaff really
  19. Not a huge fan of that team but I totally understand why he's got to rotate the squad and make compromises somewhere. We all saw what happened 2 seasons ago where we lost player after player because they got driven into the ground. I'm sure we'd all love to go strongest team twice a week but they'd soon start dropping like flies and it would destroy the season again. We just have to be a bit more tolerant tbh
  20. We need to see the image they fabricate first
  21. Fuck is Maresca playing at? Palmer off?
  22. His performance tonight was fucking stinking. I know he scored but his overall performance was disgraceful. I don't like to pile in on an individual player but he was dogshit tonight and it was mainly down to a lack of effort. He couldn't have given less of a fuck tonight, he strolled and jogged around for 70 mins, barely breaking into a sprint for much of the game. He didn't even look like he was trying. He's already been sent off which had a negative impact on that game. He's then been suspended for the next 3 for his 'thick as fuck' tackle and now he's not even running or chasing or hounding, he's walking and watching and essentially useless. It's fucking lazy, it's unprofessional and not good enough. He was shocking and needs to get his shit in a pile asap
