The rest of the squad clearly hate him the lazy, fat French cunt.

Arsenal L West Ham L Watford L Sheff Wed L Chelsea L Man C L Cheeky cunt is trying to pinch Carver's record before he's got his feet under the table. I really wanted McClaren to come in and breath new life into the place, I wanted him to get out on the training pitch and make the players better, I wanted him to pick players on merit rather than reputation, I wanted a fresh approach to how we play the game, I wanted it to work but it's clearly no better and it's arguably worse and there are no signs of improvement. He has been given a chance and thus far it's been miserable, I'm not suggesting we sack him tonight but can anyone genuinely see him turning this around? It just looks like it's beyond him, may not all be his fault as the players need to have a look at themselves too but it's his job to manage them, motivate them, coach them and organise them and we look disinterested and disorganised. Ultimately he's responsible and if it's not good enough, which it clearly isn't, then he's going to come under pressure and be held to account. You can't let it go on forever and if the picture is bleak enough then he'll need to go. We aren't far away from that now imo.

I'm angry that I'm not angry any more. I wanted it to work, I wanted it to be different but it just....isn't. The club isn't worth any emotion of any kind any longer, what happens up there will happen regardless. I'll start caring again when those who own, run and represent do, could be a long while yet. Until then, fuck the lot of them, burn it to the ground.

If you're quick you can still get 6/4 at William hills

At this precise moment in time the writing is on the wall for him. In big, red, 6 foot block capitals. If he loses the derby then he's done, go directly to the Job Centre, do not pass go, do not collect £200, you're fucking toast mate.

Colback would have scored.

Got to fancy City to go through now.

Stealing a living. Sure as night follows day this fucker goes lame. If he was a horse he'd have been put down years ago, in fact just end the cunt regardless. He's of absolutely no use to anyone.

If I thought the squad had enough bottle then going to Sunderland and winning there could be a bit of a springboard. Unfortunately they're incapable of rolling up their sleeves and grinding a derby win out. I wanted this to work and I'm quite prepared to give him time to turn it around but it's looking less likely every week. There's only so much slack he can be given before big decisions need to be made. Dropped 50 big ones in the summer and we're in danger of getting cut adrift in the next month or 2, the situation could become untenable fairly soon.

Can't believe he's not having some of the (delicious) panda burgers from Aldi like. What a cunt.

Explain what you mean by put a shift in Covered for others, tackled back, actually worked and looked like he gave a shit. And what players do you think didn't do that? Cisse, Sissoko, Haidara. Sissoko? Fuck off Also Haidara tried, he just isn't very good Should have Tridhada. LOL

How can you expect any sort of success on the pitch when the individuals playing have been bought for the wrong reasons. We don't build teams, we accumulate assets bought as low as possible to be sold on for as much money as possible. The needs of the team come a very poor second to the needs of the balance sheet. We all know Ashley isn't going to fund anything so if we want to buy players then we need to sell a few to fund it. It's absolutely no surprise to anyone that we look shit, that doesn't seem to matter any longer, we just need to be less shit than another 3 sides every season. This might be the year though. Hard to pick 3 sides worse at this point, it's not even October and we're already in the shit. Roll the dice again and hope 3 teams capitulate. Yay.

Prepared to give him time but I've not been too impressed with what I've seen for the last month. Initially I thought I saw a bit of progress being made and him imposing the way he wants us to play but the last 3 or 4 have been dreadful, as bad as anything Carver was churning out 6 months ago. It's going to take time but he desperately needs a win from somewhere or the situation will be beyond salvaging. I think he'll be on a very short leash. Woe betide if he starts moaning about shit like the fixture list too, you play another team from the same division every week, there's not a law saying a tough fixture has to automatically end in defeat. If he loses the derby then he'll lose a significant proportion of the fanbase imo.

Here we go.....

Daft cunt doesn't understand how velcro keeps his shoes on ffs

That's a very bold statement chap. We've already seen the likes of Stoke, West Ham, Southampton and Swansea overtake us. Now we've got Leicester and Palace who've come up and passed us too, Villa seem to have a bit about them and we're relying on the promoted teams struggling in order to keep our necks above water. We've made an horrific start and it could get even worse after the next 3 games and the pressure will build if we get cut adrift. Monday night was truly frightening.

Makes this weekend huge. Us-Watford and Bournemouth-Sunderland.

It's mint, I'd rather watch that than an individual CL game most of the time tbh. Seems odd to pay that vast amount for all the games then sticking the best bits live and free on Sky, but I'm not complaining. Bit like Redzone on Sunday nights for the NFL. You see pretty much every meaningful incident pretty much in real time, thoroughly enjoyed it tonight but if I'd stuck with City-Juve then I'd have lost a bit of interest.
-
Really struggling to name the 3 sides I'd be confident of finishing above atm.
-
Krul Janmaat M'bemba Colo Haidara Anita Thauvin Sissoko Wijnaldum Aarons Perez De Jong on the bench and first change. Cisse doesn't even look remotely interested any more unfortunately.

If we're in the bottom 6 come February then he'll lose his job imo. What do you base that on? Not being an arse, like. Just seems highly unlikely given how early we'd be into his tenure and, obviously, recent historical events suggesting that even the worst managers are fucking bulletproof as long as they've got a contract going forward. We'd have to be rock stoney bottom in April to see any movement in the dugout, imo. Ashley can't afford to get relegated this season. He'll do anything to avoid it and if it looks likely then we'll bin him in the hope the new bloke gets a few wins, staying up is all that has ever mattered.
