Not that its a competition between the two, but the upturn in our performances have been more down to Martins than Owen iyam Fair comment and Owen has looked livlier too. Again though, the system we're using benefits Martins and Owen. Just pleased to see a bit of football with a positive attitude again. Spent far too long in the doldrums over the last few years.

He's certainly upped his game in the last few weeks. He looks dangerous whether we have the ball or not and Keegan's found a system which benefits him. Fair play to the lad.

I don't think anyone has said that they're not allowed to leave early, but a few people have commented that they can't understand why they would want to leave early... simple really. Just baffled as to why so many people get all upset and angry when people leave a few minutes before full time. What difference does it make to them? Let people get on with it and support the team in their own way. What's worse, leaving early or booing on the final whistle?

Didn't think Fenerbache were all that good... Drogba on the bench is a fucking frightening prospect I'd imagine. It gives them the chance to change systems if it's going tits up, plus he's always likely to make something out of nothing. Capable on their own turf, and with Chelsea imo not firing on all cylinders, i just don't think Chelsea are potent enough to beat them. Another thing with Drogba, he'll be well pissed off to be on the bench, can't see him coming on and giving his all, he's a moody fuker when not treated right (and he hates Grant anyway) That's fair enough. Milburn paddocks and I was 11. Went there with a group of German kids over on a foreign exchange thingy. The school bought every kid a ticket for this match and a mackem match at Roker a few days earlier iirc. They'd never seen anything like it before and thoroughly enjoyed it.
