  1. Think we'll eventually wear them down and win it by a goal. They may be in poor form but they've got individuals who can spark something even when they're not playing well, concerned about Bowen in particular but if we can get on top of the CM then we can limit or stop the service into him. Won't be easy though

Even if they did go down the streaming route then evn £40 a month would work out cheaper than having to subscribe to Sky Sports, TNT, Amazon etc. And it would also guarantee that the punter would be able to see any match they wanted which, despite subscribing to all platforms, isn't possible right now. Obviously binning Sky/TNT you'd lose access to other sports but I think most casual British football fans would sign up for that deal. Pad the schedule out with highlights, magazine shows and documentaries on all 20 clubs and they'd rake it in imo
  3. There are players starting every week for Man U that wouldn't have got as much as a sniff of a squad place at the same club 10 or 15 years ago. They've got a small handful of very good players and then the drop off is ridiculous. Tie that in with the loss of the 'aura' from the club and Old Trafford and they're in real danger of slipping into the chasing pack and finishing 6th-8th on a very regular basis. They've spent a large fortune and lost their entire identity only to become a pale shadow of what they used to be

I think it's only a matter of time before the PL go down the streaming route and sell subscriptions rather than do deals with Sky, TNT etc. Maybe 5 or 10 years down the line, they'll be flogging a 'Team Pass' to see specifically 1 chosen team for £24.99 a month (or whatever) or £39.99 a month for a 'League Pass' to get access to any game at any time. And they'll make an absolute killing in the process
  5. Don't know a single person who likes Drury's commentating. All he seems to do is irritate the neutrals with his utter shite, rehearsed, cringy, cheesy soundbites. Makes the game even worse the second he opens his big fat fucking mouth. He's a piece of shit tbph
  6. "utopian" Fucking seriously?
  7. Must say, I think the ironic cheers from the home fans when he does put his foot through it haven't helped. It's got to play on his mind a bit when he's already fucked up once before. Probably feels like he has to atone for it and get involved when he really shouldn't
  8. "Liverpool can't argue about it" You fucking reckon?
  9. Contact is the knee, not the feet?
  10. Konate is such a fucking plank at times like
  11. Carragher says it was outside so let's not mention it again, eh? Never happened ok?
  12. 7/2 for a card 4/9 just to concede a foul...
  13. Need to keep a bit back for their lawyers
  14. Wonder if City look to freshen that CM area up in January. Did Bruno's release clause lapse totally in June or was it replaced?
  15. I know it's a wild suggestion but perhaps the PL could check the legality of the rules before they actually introduce them? Like get the rules signed off by a team of judges as being valid prior to presenting them to be voted upon? Crazy, I know
  16. Yet to meet a single person who rates Faes tbh. Even his mam thinks he's shit
  17. And it clicked if you as much as looked at it the wrong way
  18. Plus the itchy collar issue

So just like a talk-in type of thing? I must admit I zone out of things during international windows and had no idea anything like this was going on and obviously missed any mention of it

    What was the actual event?
  21. It was a flippant answer but I honestly don' think it's that far from the truth. The power and influence those 3 clubs seem to hold is ridiculous
