Honestly not sure of the mechanics of when the 'shot/chance' is measured? Could be factoring in Barnes may not have reached the cut-back from Murphy maybe? On the face of it the shot was from a yard out and virtually impossible to miss It's an imperfect system tbh, it just helps to tell the story of the match

Tonali goal was 0.2 Garnacho was 0.1 Barnes 1 was 0.54 Bruno was 0.46 Barnes 2 was 0.25

Not quite sure how any Man U fan can consistently and correctly criticise the way the club has been run, the players that have signed (and flopped), the contracts dished out and the money spunked up the wall for months then come out to bat for them day after another humiliating defeat. Got to admire it

Villa could still win the FA Cup too. They've got a stacked league schedule (us, City, Fulham, Bournemouth, Spurs and Man U), PSG at home, Palace at Wembley and a possible FA Cup final too. All to be played in about the next 6 weeks
-
Forest and Chelsea playing a draw on the last day would be splendid
-
Zirkzee just reminds me of the fat lad in PE who always got picked 7th when the captains were picking teams. Not shite but he's a moody fucker who lets his head drop, won't defend and runs out of gas 20 minutes before the bell
-
Not in this league If I'm trying to be nice I'd describe him as 'unathletic'
-
Zirkzee's got ability but his main problems are that he's overweight, slow, can't get about the pitch and he's mentally soft as puppy shit.
-
To be fair it absolutely did look more than a bit dicey after the Brentford (A) game. Got to take into account the good start was also papering over a few cracks too. Since the start of December it's been majestic, questions were asked but he provided the answers tbh
-
He's becoming as important to us as *Rodri is to City. *I'm not saying he's as good as Rodri
-
10 points from the remaining 4 homes and we're virtually there. I think we'll overhaul Forest now and stay ahead of Chelsea and Villa too but expect City to pass us and finish 3rd. I'd go: City Us Forest Villa Chelsea

First half I thought there were a few signs of things (very slowly) starting to click a little for them. The one touch move for the Zirkzee shot was nice and they broke well for the goal for example. But most of that is null and void if they've got hearts of ants, they're so feeble and easy to bully. They'll improve further I'm sure but that soft mentality is like a millstone for them, they're so weak and no system can compensate for that. They're still a huge club OFF the park but I honestly think we've past them ON the park, they've become the underdog when we play now, it no longer feels like a scalp when we beat them now. They're just another squad these days. Just another bare arse in the shower, there's nothing special about that team whatsoever
-
Agreed. We don't half put the utter shite in the league to the sword though
-
Absolutely superb result and excellent performance. Ropey first 15 mins but got control and just bullied them for the rest of the game. Never looked in doubt as soon as Barnes got his first, makes even a point a decent enough result on Wednesday - win that and we're almost there

And that's the towel thrown in officially - the Rat departs
-
As I said in the pre match thread - it'll be closer than we think
-
The 3 points are still definitely there for us, playing downhill this half and I still maintain they'll have one eye on Thursday night. Get the next goal and I think we see it out fairly comfortably. Got to admit Man U look a lot better than I was expecting
-
And that's fair enough tbh, it's his decision. But if Fernandes pulls a hammy after an hour....
-
Amorim would be mental to go full strength for this today. Clearly their whole season hinges on the EL and getting past Lyon in a few days, lose even one or 2 key players and he'll get crucified if it costs them on Thursday night. Start fast, get the opener and they'll crumble and save themselves. Playing a few younger lads wouldn't be the worst thing in the world for them either, bit of energy and enthusiasm compared to the ponderous drivel they've been serving up for months. Expect a tough game and I think it'll be tighter than many think
-
He's clearly and obviously the squad grass. Utter wrong'un tbh, ever since he kicked that Everton lad's ankle off
-
Cabaye was 14 years ago? Fuck me
-
Nah, just a bit 'off colour'
-
Also, Villa need to start allowing their 'distractions' to actually distract them, the talented cunts
