Never a foul there from Targett

The "delighted Ashley has gone, but uncomfortable with Saudi ownership" thread

Obviously its well documented not just from the BBC, but are we suppose to just ignore it and pretend that it won’t affect anything? Especially with what’s happened to Chelsea this year. -

It's on the headlines on BBC so it's bound to promote discussion on the board about the ownership, which is what this forum is about. -
Captain Steak Bakes (now managing Blackpool/revising history)

Switched it on and 2 goals. Maybe I should switch it back off. -
I am down to about a 2. Some tough fixtures coming up but we have shown enough without our 3 best players that we should stay up. We have the momentum (more like a tsunami at the minute) which is absolutely crucial when you're scrapping for every point at the bottom.

Is left wing his preferred position? Looked superb yesterday and was my MOTM. Literally comes off because he has gassed himself out each game and never seems to stop running. Before the season, I would have had Almiron over Fraser but now I don't think there is any doubt he is the superior player. Keep it up lad!

... and that kids is why we wear shin pads. No idea how he didn't break his leg in that horrific tackle yesterday. He is Mr Consistent. I think it has worked out well that we got Targett instead of Digne. Gives us time in the summer to weigh out the options, which we didn't have in the January transfer window.

There's normally a thread towards the end of season which is titled something like - Teams which can't finish above us etc.

Think it was obvious that Howe had his hands tied this game given the 2 forced subs due to injuries. I would have imagined he would have got more minutes today if the injuries

He carried the ball well and had a solid game in my opinion.
-
Great debut! Loved it when he had time to calculate what was around him and he casually ballooned a backwards header to Dubravka!
-
Thought Wood was disappointing. Won his fair share of headers but I feel he doesn't hold the ball too well for such a big man. Rondon and Wilson are much better at laying it off.
-
Top performance! Shame he can't play against Villa! Potentially need to change both full backs depending on how bad Trippier's injury is.

Celebrity lookalike = Sherminator ??

Robert played in a much better team, pushing for champions league every year and at one point pushing for the title. Who can forget the victory against Arsenal to break the London hoodoo? Not to also mention, he had the likes of Shearer to attack his crosses and the pace of Bellamy and Dyer to allow him more space and dominate most games. For me, hard to compare. Give it a few years when hopefully ASM is still here and playing in a much better team.

Wow I remember these!! Always loved watching Pedro, Bellamy and Robert's videos.
-
Hes been out of the team tbf to him so he's probably running on empty towards the end of the game.
-
Sean longstaffe bigging him up massively in the interview there.
-
We have no luck with those chances at the end. Hope the everton match gets called off because we are running on empty.
-
Another worldie goal against us.
-
Anyone see his epic goal line clearance ?

Wow got lucky by sounds of it! How are we set up? Where is Joelinton playing?
