  1. The precedent has already been set in the Premier League after the West Ham / Sheffield United fiasco. Nowt will happen apart from the fine. Unfortunately.
  2. What a waste of four years of a career. Could have been a star, but has been used to cover over an appalling 'manager's' inadequacies.
  3. Had the pleasure of sharing the Metro with what I assumed were sunderland supporters coming back from Wembley several weeks back. Assumed they were sunderland supporters as they described themselves as 'massive lads fans' so they may have been following the Ladyboys of Bangkok on tour.
  4. Just because he Pardewed it and landed the most ridiculously soft headbutt and ended up looking like he was trying to kiss Meyler doesn't excuse from the fact that he attempted to assault an opposition player. As a manager you are expected to maintain higher standards of behaviour than those on the pitch - standards that have been lacking from this man on a number of occasions - which is why the FA will quite rightly throw the book at him.
  5. Agree on both counts. The main full backs in KK's sides (Beresford, Hottinger, Barton etc etc) wouldn't touch the modern day full back imho and, whilst Bernard was immense for that 18 month period, I've not seen a better LB than Enrique. Really? I might be looking back with rose-tinted glasses but I can't recall anything in the Ginola / Robert / Gillespie's remit being to protect their respective full backs, where the past few years protecting the full back seems to be one of our wingers top one tasks. Maybe but the more recent fullbacks would've improved the teams of yesteryear imho. And that's based on. The current pairing are floundering in an average team and they only have to do a quarter of the job that they're supposed to be doing.

  7. You missed the 'Bummed in the face' option from the poll, mate. 3-3 draw after they score three own goals and a couple of them and the entire bench die of aids during the match.
  8. Shola starts and Pardew has another record setting afternoon.
  9. Going to be an exciting night tomorrow. So fucking glad I'm out on the piss so I miss this shit.

    Loïc Remy

It's times like this when you do wonder if / why there is an anti Newcastle sentiment within the FA.
  11. Martinez doesn't do that nearly every week like Pardew does and i would say that is to put pressure on Stevenage, not give himself and his team an excuse if they lose. Jesus, do people still not accept what our manager does. Martinez on Monday: "The second half I must admit the condition of the pitch didn't allow us to control the game in the way we wanted, to concede the goal in the manner that we did was unfortunate." Pathetic excuses nearly every day of the week. You're comparing a goal conceded in a game Everton didn't lose, against : Science, The Notting Hill Carnival, Spies, Other teams being in form, Not running fast enough, lack of Magic, Can't complete with sovereign states, His own team selections, Lack of height, Travelling, Difficult run of fixtures, Fatigue in October, Thank god we're not in the Europa league this season, Journalists, Congestion of the transfer market, Not enough fans, Fans being nervous, etc, etc, etc. Well done, not sure if you're stupid or naive. Like claiming youre playing front foot football but camping on your own goal line, that's quite a conflicting group of beliefs there
  12. So what the fuck happens to the group they're in? Surely this is a wind up.
  13. He'll be able to peddle the new excuse of him and mike being up late the night before failing to get players over the line, having lost Cabaye in a shock last day bid and having no time to replace him or formulate a team plan without him. Although that last part isn't really that new an excuse.
  14. Spawny cunts will end up winning the fucker. Can see another man city final of disinterest coming up.
  15. Football. It's fucking shit.
  16. Cunts will still go through on fucking pens.
  17. Fuck fucking football. The game's a pile of fucking shit.
  18. This year was always going to be a 'flashpoint' for him in all reality. He was either going to have to sign an extension to his contract (unlikely) or be sold.
  19. Worth a cheeky quid. I'd rather keep the pound tbh. No way that our lot are not going to turn up tomorrow looking like rabbits on the motorway with a truck bearing down on them.
  20. I doubt it but we wouldn't have been hanging on as badly for the last 20 minute. Looked like a nothing game heading now here but 0-0 until his moronic challenge. Cost us a probable point and him for several games.
  21. I've just voted yes to skew the vote. That's going to show Shepherd six years ago. The bastard.
  22. Aye. They're more Ogdenville or North Haverbrook.
  23. Basically aye. Was watching the programme in the pub and predicted it beforehand - although you needed the psychic powers of Derrick Acorah to guess this would happen. No mention of Nano with a potential leg breaker but the handball and Tiote elbow got a lot of replays and alternate angles.
  24. Today was by far the best, we've actually played for 90+ minutes. Without a doubt. This wasn't a case of riding our luck as in the spurs match but competing over the full ninety minutes and looking in control for most of that. He got a bit lucky on his last sub when Debuchy was injured as bringing Cisse on just after shola looked like a disaster waiting to happen.
