It'll be like living in the future. Amazing enough development for a thread title change Hope they throw the scalding hot pies at people like they used to with bags of peanuts.

http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/news/north-east-news/newcastle-united-start-delivering-food-5773902?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter So are they just delivering it at half time? If so, how's that mean you don't miss 'a second of the action'? Presumably the fact you have to decide if you're going to fancy a pie the day before is due to the fact you can't get a mobile signal when there's 40,000 phones crammed into one structure.

OK, let's take them at their word - They have a gameplan for the end of the transfer window and we should judge them after Fulham and West Ham. Let's revisit that on the 3rd of September.
-
Can't compete with West Ham, they're a national capital. It's impossible to match their squad.
-
It's his cockney accent man, he said we'd get a FREE in by Saturday.
-
Most clubs look forward to the transfer window, we end up not only not bringing people in, but not being able to play guys who we haven't even sold and got money for.
-
But if he didn't back off or get caught out of position, how would he get the plaudits for putting himself about and playing with geordie passion when he makes a wild, last ditch lunge and hoof out of danger? No-one likes to see a well positioned defender calmly picking up the ball or blocking a channel and then playing it forward under no pressure, where's the fun in that?

The Official Alan Pardew Excuses Thread

Well it needs to be because we've done fuck all before it started. -
Flacid.

The gameplan was "We can't compete with their squad, it's impossible."
-
Where are goals going to come from? Where are clean sheets going to come from? We concede, we give up, we score, we try to defend the rest of the game and let them batter us until they inevitably break us down. We have a manager that makes excuses before the game's kicked off, and we walk onto the pitch already defeated. Where are the points to keep us up going to come from?

We could easily have been about 5-0 down after 20 minutes man Alan

Well there we go, 60 points. Should have put a fiver on it as well.

"Key plank of Newcastle's central defence" Plank is right. How much of this Herbalife stuff has he been smoking?

@bbcsport_david Cabaye travelled with #nufc squad to Manchester but returned home as not in right frame of mind after Sunday's £10m #afc bid #bbcfootball How does that endear you to your new employer? Oh, sorry, I can't play football when I'm not in the right frame of mind.

"Pardew might be tempted to bring on Ameobi - or a striker"

Put my predictions league banker on 4-0, looks like I had my black and white specs on.

Piece of piss. Could be 3 already.

Ba wicked you into oblivion, iirc. Aye Ba and Cabaye scored but the point remains, you expected to lose and won. Just swap Ba for Gouffran and Cabaye for Sissoko and voila! We never win in Manchester period. Oi, no need to call him a period. -
