  1. I have had a look through a load of other sites, including wigan forum's, and still cant say for certain if he is in their team today. Worryingly though I have not found one wigan fan sorry to see Taylor go and as for the fee, everywhere I can find seems to have it as £4m plus Taylor, who incidently, is out of contract in the summer!
  2. I hope not. Turned on Talksport half way through them talking about Wigan, and I think I heard them say they wondered how he will play today with Newcastle 'sniffing around'. How many Taylors do Wigan have?, one in their squad here: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_prem/7856378.stm
  3. Well they won't. You just generally don't pay as much money for goalkeepers as you do outfield players, it's always been the case. But why? I've never got it, stopping a goal should surely be as important as scoring one, Good goalkeepers aren't in abundance. If you don't score goals, the most you can get out of a game is 1 point. And if your keeper doesn't concede, then the least you can get is 1 point.
  4. I can't speak for anyone else, but for me this is very much an Anyone-but-Liverpool year.
  5. The good thing about Jonas being 'rested' is that for the first time in years, we actually have a player on the bench who could come on and change the game. The way Hull are defending, he could have a field day with fresh legs in the second half.
  6. More likely that he won't play to avoid being cup tied.
  7. Sunderland, Stoke, Fulham and West Brom all in the World's top 25 spenders!! Madness.
  8. Now that this is confirmed I think we all accept that Owen will be off, but has hed been asked by any journalists about his contract recently and are there any quotes?
  9. I like your thinking, are you basically saying he is talking the player up in the hope to sell him in January? The problem with that is, when you are Newcastle manager those quotes get thrown back in your face when said player is sold and the headlines read that you have no say in transfers.
  10. Ive only just stopped laughing enough to post, the funniest minute of football I have ever seen.
  11. I thought the Spurs Keeper was Brazillian. Whats he doing playing for the Germans?
  12. If Downing works at it I think he has the potential to be as big a waste of space as Duff.

He's clearly been dropped to the bench last minute as he's about to fly out to Germany to replace Walcott.
  14. I think the best punishment would be to dock them points from their next game. Make them forfeit it. Who are they playing anyway?
  15. Is it true that there have been injury time goals in Arsenal's last 6 games? EDIT: Answering my own question, it is. 2-1 Man Utd (Da Silva 90+) 1-2 Stoke (Clichy 90+) 4-4 Spurs (Lennon 90+) 2-0 W Ham (Adebayor 90+) 3-1 Everton (Walcott 90+) 1-1 S'land (Fabregas 90+) Other than the 0-0 with Fenerbache it would have been 7 becasue Ramsey scored in injury time in the 5-2 CL win.
  16. Keane to walk? Finally a job for Allardyce?
  17. You have to love the fact Spurs have taken 7 points from 9 and are still bottom! ;D
  18. Looking at the table the 'big four' must be laughing. Look at the state Arsenal are in and they will still walk a Champion's League spot.
  19. Shola seems to have taken on a Heskey role, absolutely no goal threat from him but important for the team. Has he now been proven justified to turn down moves to the likes of Stoke?
