Are we allowed another loan though? I saw something that said you were allowed 2 domestic and 1 foreign or are you actually allowed as many foreign loans as you want? As many as you like from abroad, a limit to how many in a squad for a game though, 5 i think. Thought it was 4 in one season and two at a time... https://www.premierleague.com/news/464747

    Gelson Martins

No way we signing him permanently if Atletico paid 30 million Euros https://www.football-espana.net/74818/atletico-madrid-agree-pay-sporting-cp-€30m-gelson-martins
  3. Nah, James Milner was told to me in folk law from a Man City season ticket holder. They said the trio of him, Aguero and Silva was the best trio of players that they had beyond anything else in the world and in their team. They would take the pee and Milner's recent tackle turned an opposition tackle in to a goal for his team so I kind of understand how underrated he is from this perspective.
  4. I don't know what he has against Richie at the moment but he took off our best attacking threat against Spurs which effectively ended any chance of getting anything then took off our number one penalty taker yesterday which again ended up losing 3 points.
  5. He did. I like how Rafa doesn't take the problem to the players when he wants rid. He takes it to the agents who know their assets arent generating any value, or likely to, so it makes them sort players futures out as it is in the agents best interest to move them on in order to maximise the players earning potential.
  6. You mean MASH Holdings are taking on HoF which is almost half the size of MASH by itself but they may be as yet unaware of operating costs of HoF and so need to be putting aside cash as a contingency? Maybe. Fuck knaas Bingo he only owns 50 odd percent of SD which is struggling so he could well be prepared to turn his loans in to non taxable cash returns which are classified as his "wallpaper" or Directors loans. Loads of cash to give to SD to fund HoF cash flow with some kick back perhaps.
  7. To give my friends here at N-O some info look at companies house beta data for Mash Holdings. I can't see shit now due to data protection. But a controlling interest change has been made. Maybe the HoF buy has been planned for a while and Mike has recouped some cash flow from NUFC and his SD empire? Directors loans and pure cash investment can be levied against the current situation in companies. Think of a size of company almost half of yourself but perhaps not knowing what the bills are. Belt tightening will be required.
  8. I fully support Rafa btw but please go and do some research on rawk. He goes to war a lot with owners. To Rafa happy support = players play best = club finishes higher = owner happy = more money all round. If short changed he fights back on those broad principles. This isn't having a go at him as I was there singing "we want you to stay" the season he could have left and last when we shouted appreciation. think back to the scenes vs. spurs when we were relegated, if they've not convinced/conned him into signing an extension by the end of the season it'll be fucking bedlam It won't be bedlam at all. If Rafa did get "conned" into signing a new deal then he now knows exactly he is signing up for more of. If he did then he is not much better than them. All that matters is getting Ashley out. Nothing else. Rafa been here strengthens Ashley's position. Whaaat? Rafa has the equivalent of a Royal Flush in his hands right now. He signed up to that statement as he knows there will be hell on end of this season. Those who go to the match have let everyone at the club know that Rafa must stay. Mike has the worst hand right now. just ignore this character, relentless says the person who posts more than myself Just meant he's being specifically objectionable today about Rafa etc. is all. Do what you like obvs. I fully support Rafa btw but please go and do some research on rawk. He goes to war a lot with owners. 11. https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/6865877/newcastle-rafa-benitez-buyout-clause/ Like I already said Rafa has parked his tanks on Mike's lawn for next summer. The club can't put out a statement like today stating squad is better than the 10th finish last season then end up finishing this season without Rafa signed up and then end losing all the loaned players so we are worse than how we started. There will be hell on.
  12. I have seen on social media but not on here. I wonder if season ticket holders could apply to loan their season ticket for the season with the option to pay at the end if they decide the football is decent?
  13. Playing in a big match at a young age isn’t exactly indicative of quality. Renato Sanches had an utterly fantastic Euros tournament, one of the best ever for a young player. Last season he was awful for Swansea. Realistically all that matters to us is whether a player has been half decent recently and whether they can fit into Rafa’s plans. He also has Champions League football with Napoli. What you on about? He knows Rafa's system and the EPL. What has Mawson done to earn a £20m move by comparison? We have got the better deal.
  14. If we get this guy he is better than Alfie Mawson btw. Now Mawson is playing at Fulham but at a similar age Federico was at the world cup in 2014 where his team lost to Germany in the final.
  15. I see your point, but I don't think it's quite so black and white. We may have been fucked last season without Kenedy and Dubravka coming in, so in that instance loans worked out very, very well for us. I get your point but taking loans like Kenedy is a negative from the off as if the player shines we have developed him as a bigger asset for his parent company thus making us weaker them stronger and we have no valuable asset to potentially sell on Its a temporary measure which previously used to only be in an emergency to cover a months period. I'm not a fan of the loan system at all and I certainly think that you should not be allowed to loan a player from a team in the same division The loan system is allowing Rafa to park all his tanks on Ashley's lawn for next summer. Some are clever loans (Rondon/Gayle) as they work for both clubs. Kenedy can be bought next summer and the figure will be known (lets says £20m) regardless of how he does. But it will be our record fee. The problem for Ashley is all these players will need signed before Rafa even contemplates signing on again. Shots fired!
  16. He’s had 3 fairly major injuries. I’d be more concerned if he was constantly picking up niggly ones. Hasn’t played much in 3 years though, so no idea how good he’d be. The obligation to buy is only if we stay up so we’ll just send him back. Watched the WBA Liverpool game last season and he got in some great goal scoring opportunities. Could have had two or three plus a pen. Didnt look slow but he was a little rusty and with a bit more match sharpness he would have converted a couple more for sure. I would take a loan to buy deal as £15m these days is nowt.
  17. Nah Rafa's daughter will be knocking on his door.
  18. Wish I could send him "The Ring" video. He doesn't do technology so I bet he still watches stuff on VHS.
  19. Lucas Perez is available for £7.5m. I would be all over that.

    Lee Charnley

Active director of all of them companies and earns 115k a year shows how fucking spineless out of his depth and useless in his field he is. I work with and know many many people who earn more than that and they aren't managing director of a Premier League club Odious little baldy arse licking cunt that he is He earns 150k btw. Still a pittance but that is his earning according to the accounts.
  21. Highly rated just two years ago and knee injury has curtailed his career. If you take the fact I read elsewhere he made 18 sub appearances his goals per min on the pitch ain't too shabby... https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/yoshinori-muto-scouting-report-japanese-7177748.amp
  22. From a few years back but worth a read... http://outsideoftheboot.com/2014/02/20/fabian-schar-scout-report/
  23. He played very well against us. I would be happy if we get him.
