They may be appear to be powerless but they can put the club under pressure, I've not heard a single word from them about the fiasco at all. Those all look like very good signings to me in all honesty. Out of those there, the only one they paid over the odds for was Veron. It's Newcastle problem that they decided not to buy anyone. Not sure they worked out as great signings for the most part, but as for us, yes. While acknowledging Woodgates signing etc mid season, that summer marked the beginning of our slide. No idea on this one, to be honest. It probably doesn't make any appreciable difference whether we have H&C or Kinnear. Except with Kinnear we would be waiting for him to keel over at any moment.
