  1. He is 16. The forum will likely be 25 years old before he plays a first team game - if he even does get a game.

there was far more to it than that - there was a real mentality around both of our squads that money simply doesn’t buy

im not certain Spurs would come straight back up, we had a unique set of circumstances on both occasions which set us up well to go up but only time will tell if something similar would happen at Spurs

They had to - his Dad died
  6. Any unemployed manager considered a long term option should be willing to go there now and if necessary be willing to stick with them in the Championship. otherwise it is a big red flag.
  7. I just think like the squad he looks tired. the warning signs were there last season where we had a mini collapse after his return from illness. We were genuinely in the run for second but we collapsed and barely made CL. Pneumonia can really impact energy levels - I have never been the same since a bout in 2018 and I am 9-5, not 6am - 9pm or whatever Eddie works. I have a lot of sympathy but his attempt to come back last season so soon was the wrong one, possibly forced on him by the presence of Paul Mitchell. With that in mind I think at this point he should go off sick until July - if he wants to come back at all.
  8. I think the league has been such a drag this year that we’ve looked at the cups for distraction and now all we have is the hope of a fun run in
  9. I think with hindsight when Liverpool offered us a free shot at Ekitike if we’d open a deal with them for Isak we should have taken it.
  10. 2009: Mike Ashley’s club thrashed 6-1 by League One Leyton Orient 2026: My club thrashed 7-2 by Champions League Barcelona
  11. I think it is really important that we now go qualify for the Conference league to break the cycle of being in and out of Europe. Howe needs to adapt to the European schedule so being in Europe against some lesser teams might help us find a rhythm again.
  12. Burn will start every game to get him to the World Cup
  13. Wolves will win the Championship next season

at one point McClaren was as good as Moyes as a manager but his negative experiences caused him to slide, whereas Moyes learned and improved.
  15. Think he is now a goal away from lift off.

He’s not very good and I don’t think it is coincidence that our defence has got worse with him in it. He is this generation’s Steven Taylor.
  18. The sporting world needs to throw the book at him, literally ban him from every professional and amateur sports ground across the land including golf courses
  19. Man City are managed by a proven doping cheat. their coach Kolo Toure is another proven doping cheat and doped while playing for them. so pleased that we played well enough to bait them both into yellow cards. nice to dream about winning the cup for a while. Onwards to Barcelona. what was the alternative again?

The reason we went back up both times was because of those who stayed and fought plus a unifying manager and captain. I can’t see that Spurs have this.
