I have reminded myself that this is an Eddie Howe managed team. Whoever we sign the following players will be in Howe’s preferred first XI next season with anyone else getting bedded in: Tino Hall or Trippier Botman or Burn Tonali Joelinton Bruno Gordon Isak so that is eight first team places filled no matter what. Additionally it is going to take a bloody good player to replace the incumbents in the other three positions. i suspect we will only sign 1 player for those three semi vacant positions. Maybe 2 if value can be found. i therefore think we will mostly be looking at players that we believe can replicate the progress Tino has made over two seasons. in which case need to consider any positions where the cover is not quite at the standard we need (striker and CM)
