I've never heard a bad word about Barton or Lee before. Respect Barton a lot for his efforts, and Rob Lee is a legend as far as i'm concerned. Best midfielder to play for us in my time.

Which side do you think he is most effective on? Obviously he's right footed, but i've been really impressed with him when he's played on the left. He's got a decent left foot on him, and he's got a quality shot on him. Obviously if he plays on the left he is gonna have more shooting opportunitys when he cuts inside. I am a big fan of N'Zogbia so i'm not saying Milner should be our first choice left winger, but i think we could get a lot out of Milner on the left. Opinions?

He is obviously targeting players he think would really improve us, rather than just "better than what we've got". I think thats obvious with him not going for the likes of Luke Young. We'll have to wait and see if we do go in for Baines. If he doesn't even go in for Baines then he's obviously aiming really high, and we're struggling to sign the quality he really wants.

How's that work? Why would Richards be over-hyped just cos he played for Man City? Which sounds like what you're implying... Because we knock our own players down at every opportunity when they make a mistake? We always build our players up then knock them down at the first opportunity. I can't believe the amount of shit Milner gets. He's 21 playing in an awful team with nothing to aim at in the box yet he had a good season last season taking all things into consideration, and we've still got people saying he's shite.

It's not true, that's just your opinion as you overrate our young players and when anyone questions them you throw the "Well lets sell them because they're not the finished article at 21" line like a big tart. True story. I overrate them? I think Taylor is gonna be a genuine quality player and the same for N'Zogbia. Apart from that i think Milner is a very handy player who IF he improves his crossing can be a good player for us. I don't think anything about the others. Is that overrating them three like?

If Richards played for us and Taylor played for Man City, then Taylor would be the natural replacement to John Terry, and Richards would be getting polls made comparing him to Peter Ramage after a bad performance in a UEFA Cup match when Ramage looked decent for a change. True story.

He also played up with Martins a lot of the time and he had more shit games than good ones.

So is the Zog. Not saying its a bad thing. Bridge is better at attacking than he is at defending but he is an excellent full back. I'd definitely take Baines. I'm not sure if N'Zogbia would make a good full back. It would take a bit of work and he would make quite a few mistakes at first. He might be able to convert into a very good full back, but i think he could be a very special winger in a few years, so i'd rather he stuck to his natural position.

I'd take Huddlestone alone for him, but they're hardly gonna give us Huddlestone. Will there be a player given a worse reception than him at SJP next season?

Anyone think of any players they would in interested in who we could get in a part exchange from either Spurs, West Ham or Man City, realistically? Defenders or midfielders.

Get in, i'm so fucking happy We knew his days were up but the confirmation has just put a big smile on my face.

We will get nowhere signing defenders like him. Don't care if he's a slight improvement. He's exactly the sort of signing we should be looking to avoid.
