  1. Lets get sheringham and sutton whilst we are at it. might aswell give milner his raise than spunk 6 months worth of wages on larsson.
  2. Suprised he would move backwards like that. Pompey or Everton would have been a much better bet.
  3. Dont think he is going anywhere tbh. we will give him the contract he wants.
  4. He is not a squad player that I want to lose, but we can find someone more suitable for our first team, to the style we want to play.
  5. I feel like my housewife has run off with the milk man without any warning. She seemed happy and never complained about anything, apparently now she needs more and was never happy. Stupid bitch.
  6. Great game. Easy to get carried away bearing in mind it was against lower league opposition, but enjoyable all the same. Defensively I thought we looked very sound, a much more physically dominant DM (or midfield) infront of the defence could have earnt us a clean sheet, something despite the two goals we wouldnt have been unworthy of anyway. Conceeding from set pieces again is a worry. Given 6 - Not much to do, sharp reactions when called upon, rightly had little blame for the goals. Beye 6 - Not one of his greatest games, solid for the most part, just a couple of mistakes. Colo 8 - Class, barely missed a trick all night worked well with the back line and came forward nicely. Bassong 8 - Mightly impressed with how he coped, looked calm for the most part, had a slip late on but forgivable for the rest of his game. Enrique 8.5 - WOW, did he put a foot wrong all night, great assist, good coming forward, excellent defending. Lets hope he can take this kind of performance and replicate it every week. Will be tough to leave out against Arsenal given this performance. Geremi 5.5 - worked hard but became very sloppy at times, right decision to take him off for Owen. Butt 5.5 - Held the midfield together for the most part, cancelled out his good passes with his bad. Didnt play badly over all. Guthrie 6.5 - A bit hit and miss at times but had some fantastic passes on him, continues to look like a bargain, if not a player for the future. N'Zogbia 8 - Great game from the Zogster, back to his best albeit against lesser opposition, a start in midfield regularly will be a shoe in with this kind of performance. Milner 8.5 - Sell Milner, nay chance. Great game all round and a deserved goal. Guiterrez 7.5 - Did admirably in the central role, was stiffelled to a point, but showed flashes of brilliance, for me works much better out wide but for his work rate and skills is such an asset to the team wherever he plays. Keegan 8 - did everything pretty much right. No Alan Smith again.. WOO!
  7. very promising start, hope we ease him in this way over the next year or so. Was impressed with his physical side, he looked decent in the air and has some pace on him. Looks like decent back up and one for the future.
  8. Swap for Milner? Not going to happen, Lerner knows you will never win anything with a team full of James Milners.
  9. Not to mention he will never settle and adapt to the premier league.
  10. Thats why you spend good money on someone that can create something out of nothing, regardless of how the team is playing.
  11. Would make more sense that the press had mixed up swps and malouda. suprised if he goes to everton.
  12. Would love him here, but only after we get a Defender, Striker and central midfielder in! Can see him ending up at Pompey. Sure he will come here if Keegan wants him though.
  13. Could work out nicely if we get saviola in. come january we can flog shola, sell him and maybe go back for gomis or similar.
  14. Oh mummy oh daddy lets all go play kabadi! woo! good news, hopefully a replacement is imminent.
  15. Can he play in midfield?

    Jose Enrique

Keegan had to go all out today and try and attack Manures weaker team. N'Zog offers alot more attacking. Enrique will play a big part this season. I think Beaulios' comment bears truth aswell.
  17. Excellent start! Was almost demanding that we nicked the result by the end. Add in Owen, Viduka and a few more faces and we can do well this year. Butt is always a liability when playing United, he is the new Gary Speed though. Given 9 - To think some people (myself) wouldnt have shed huge tears had we sold him for alot of money this summer. Right back to his best and hopefully over his injury problems. Beye 6 - Did well, will get back to his best with fitness, looking forward to him solidifying our backline Taylor 8 - happy to give him an 8, did really well, unfortunate he was off the pitch for the equaliser, wasnt too rash for a change and dominated the back. Colocinni 8 (7 game) - For different reasons for Taylor who had the better overall game, Colo matured into the game and did very well for his debut, nervy and rash to start but was increasingly solid. Very happy and optimistic he will become a great signing for us. N'Zogbia 6 - Not a left back and should have done better for the equaliser, however did his best and looked it going forward, thought he also looked a bit lightweight taking players on. Milner 7 - hard working, did well, good tracking back. Butt 6 - Overally solid but some stupid mistakes that shouldnt be happening (which always do against manure) Guthrie 8 - Wow, solid in posession, nice passing on the whole did well against a very strong and experienced central midfield in Carrick and Scholes. Looking forward to seeing this lad develop. Duff 7 - Worked really hard and is almost passing the dropping hints stage to getting back to his best. Will be interesting to see if he can hold his place with Owen and Viduka returning and another potential midfielder and Striker coming through the doors. Gutierrez 8.5 - What a guy! A strong, powerfull pacier version of Milner, everywhere on the pitch and what a cracking temperament great to see! looks to be one hell of a buy, lets hope he just gets better. Delighted to see he stuck two fingers up at all the press that said he wouldnt perform away from home! Martins 7.5 - should have had two, played very well working hard throughout, sometimes still a little sloppy in posession but is coming through a hard time and confidence will breed from this goal and hopefully getting more from here. Keegan - 8 Went all out for it, lets be honest he wasnt going to go conservative. N'Zogbia was always a risk at LB but we had to go all in. Bloody Colocinni had to happen some time and showing he has the faith in him to play today will stick with the player. Lots of work to do behind the scenes to bring some more faces in but good times dont seem like such a dream.
  18. Like Coloccini, another player linked with us every summer, not expecting him to end up the same place as the former though.
  19. Let no-one say anymore. Wouldnt be upset if we brought him in though.
  20. Everton in pole position according to the press.
