This And this... Let no more be said.
  2. Tough call. Our saving grace in the premiership this year (if we dont go down) will be the general dross that fills half the table actually being worse than us. A cup run would be huge and I think we should be going all out for it. The second half of the season largely depends on who we can get into the club in January. There is still everything to play for in the league and FA Cup imo.
  3. moral of the story, dont rely on newcastle for festive cheer. Ever.
  4. Would like to see him replacing jonas on the right, we looked better when they switched it up. I think Jonas will work better through the center in this match. That or bring xisco on.
  5. Kinnear needs to stick a rocket up the arses of every player. Truely woeful, inept performance. People need to wake up and think. Pathetic.
  6. Never thought I'd want to see Geremi put on, especially for Jonas. Be better putting shola or xisco on and putting duff on the right imo.
  7. Jonas has been fucking woefull for a while. Already damage limitation.
  8. seriously do the player not grow up being told if your going to head or kick the ball dont just do it for the sake of it. No one seems to think where the balls they are playing are going to go. its what benitez would call Il terrible!
  9. What brain cells our mongs had seem to have all disappeared now. We are bloody woeful. Disgusting really.
  10. Get in, thats some good news sandwiched between two depressing losses!
  11. No doubt, Geremi and Butt would have rallied us to victory much better. Seemed like the decent choice given what we had. Barton was a non starter. Yes Given would have been great but I dont think a GK carries the same influence as someone outfield. Or were you a voter for candidate Taylor? voted for Beye Actually I think so did I, forgoten about him tbh! Apologies.

  13. I forgot all about him and now you've made my day even worse, I hope you're proud of that. Just be happy the proverb "your only as strong as your weakest link" isnt always true or we really would be fooked, not least because there are too many to choose from.
  14. Thats the word on the street. I bloody hope its right.
  15. Was nursing his hamstring and grimacing moments before he went off.
  16. Owen looked very disinterested for some reason, sort of wandered through the match without ever showing any sort of urgency. No leadership whatsoever, too. I dont understand this the most especially after the last few years at the club. No one tries to pump up the players or tells them to think on the pitch (granted given will shout at his defence a bit). There is a point where letting your passion take control can be detremental to the game but even a sub giving the players a kick up the arse when they come on to the pitch or someone generally looking arsed would appease me a little.
  17. Not the only thing damaging the game today to be fair. Also - were refs really that much better back in the day as it were? Due to my age I've only been watching the game since the 90s (and can't recall really seeing a major change in the overall quality of officials in that time). Seems like the glaring mistakes are happening week in week out rather than now and again. The game needs a video ref, the FA should just swallow their pride and follow Rugby Union/League/NFL/NHL etc where it works consistently well, will cut down the majority of the abuse players give the ref and the cards he ends up showing. I dont think ref's are that much worse but the level of the league has risen whilst referring has been static it should have been addressed a long time ago when they were given full time jobs, says more about the FA's inability to act on the matter than the fact officiating has been bad for years. The pro's of having a video ref greatly out weigh the cons IMO.
  18. Add talk and a return for Mort in there and we would be on to a winner in turning things around. If he had just come out and spoke to the fans ala keegan/Cole he would have gone a big way at repairing the damage. Its the PR thats his biggest mistake. I'd be happy for him to stay on but I am still astonished he hasnt come out with something yet or even learnt from his mistakes and got muppet lambias to say something.
  19. I'd agree with you 100% if we didnt have Alan Smith on our payroll.
  20. Its a big factor in why alot of people I know wont watch football or have given up watching it, well that and the fact they are sissys. Some kind of standards need to be set up as its a joke right now thats ruining the game.
