This man made Ritchie look a decent Wingback. He made Dummett a competent and reliable LCB. He basically made Lascelles.

Great shout tbh. I always thought Clark was a decent CB with the ball tbh, just massively destroyed in that department after Lejeune came through and started carrying out of defense and smacking that cross field ball to Yedlin on the wing.

A young lad who could use a proper manager. He’s not ready to be playing for a side managed by Bruce.
-
We have no idea if he’s ill or carrying a knock and somehow played. Think he’s been slowly gaining some form and really had a poor game today but in any case, the venom for the local lad is a bit much. He’s playing for the worst manager possible with 0 tactical ability and likely minimal instruction on how to play the position. His most important development should have been under Rafa and it’s not. He blatantly needs a break and his brother needs to play.

time for his brother to play in his place.

There's not a chance in hell MA would allow Bruce to supercede ASM who they just signed on to a big contract.

I for one, will have this on whilst at work. -
He doesn't even have a killer instinct or killer pass in him to be a top attacker in the sense of a dynamo support striker or #10.

car tumbled 46 times but is apparently ok

In Harry Saratov, i trust.

I mean in reality, if an ambitious owner was going to have a new stadium help be part of a major property investment into the region/city centre that would also include the creation of local jobs and stimulation of economy - wonderful. If that new owner saw this as part of their underwriting to make the very best possible NUFC, I'm all in.

He was so bloody good in the Championship season I assumed the long-term partnership was going to be him and Lejeune. Clark has a clangor or two in him, but he's always a decent threat on set pieces and have always been a fan of his. Solid, reliable. Nothing seems better than a good left footed CB who plays on the left side.

I'd prefer something like Feyenoord's new stadium or similar, modernish with 4 big fuck off stands for the noise and symmetry if were to move. Luton Town have something like some of yous are talking, would be nice in theory. Personally, I'd rather extra money be spent on a total renovation of SJP - improve every single area of it - even if it costs more.

I'd love to see an interview with him about this. I'd love to hear what he thinks about that spell. Why he thinks he played so good, and why he thinks he wasn't able to replicate that form any other period of his career. It's not like what he did on the pitch was luck, like purple patches average strikers can find themselves in. He was bossing the midfield on a consistent basis for months against high level opponents. It's not like he was getting carried by his team mates, as he was the one that did the work to enable his team. Honestly, he was one of the most dominant midfielders in the league over that period. I'd joke with ManDoon[/member] that Diame had either found the fountain of youth or was on some awesome PEDs because it defied any logic. In any case, we were witnessing a nearly on-England form type Shelvey too with Diame and Merino was taking ages to turn from the back injury. It was weird he left when he did because the following season he could have cemented his spot in the team (maybe even with Longstaff) under Rafa. But no issue with him, he had every reason to leave and I'm sure he will move on to the very top Spanish clubs in short order.

I like Hayden, just don’t see a future where he’s first choice if we ever get taken over. He’s a good squad player and situational.

The optimism after that Fulham game man. Lush summer day, we’d played some good football for 5 months, Benitez was in talks in London with Ashley and Charnley, contract looked a formality with the Monochrome takeover almost certain. Rondon was going to be our number 9. No hint at the time Perez was looking to leave. Within 2 months we had no takeover, Bruce was manager and Joelinton was number 9. Shaking at how fucking horrendous those few days were when the momentum was going in that direction. That press release statement announcing Rafa was leaving literally depressed me. Perez left a few days later. Ugh.
