Ba is a gamble. Stock City turned down the deal after Ba failed a medical. Could be down to not enough money but there's uncertainty.
-
Finally a post I can agree with you.
-
Mammy and Daddy Ameobi must be proud as f***. Fair play to them. Nah, just remind you the time when Shola made his debut for us under Sir Bobby. It's like a cycle has been completed...the rise and the fall.

I am quite shocked to see he cannot win lots of headers against Spurs. That's really worrying.
-
That is quite touching to be honest.
-
Hope some of them will have a taste of first team football in the remaining 2 matches as a reward.
-
We conceded lots of late goals during mid season because we always try to attack attack and attack. I couldn't blame Pardew for being so negative before we are really safe from relegation.
-
The question is simple: why, Barca, again?
-
Not a bad try imo. The first one under Puma rite?
-
Agree with that. Messi below Zidane, still. I think the best comparison I can find for Messi NOW is Ronaldo during his time at Barca. Both unstoppable, won Ballon D'or but is yet to win a WC on his own.
-
Yea sure it's unfair to compare in that way. I think Messi still have lots of chances to prove himself (at least 2 more WC) and he could be the best player since Maradona. In the end, to be honest, it's WC what really matters. Cruyff, while regarded as one of the best player in football history, would never be regarded as "the best" player because he didn't win the WC. The same for Messi and sure, C Ronaldo.
-
To me he is the best in this era, but still below Zidane. Zidane has the aura that makes all his teammates play like world champion like France in 2006. Messi, on the other hand, is a unbelievable player on his own but could not bring out the best of his teammates. Barca would not be that dominant without Xavi and Iniesta.

Disagree, there is a difference. Players like Maria and Marcelo for Madrid do dive but they don't roll around the floor trying to get the opponent sent off. Example when De Maria dived against Alves, he was frustrated and held his hands up but he wasn't clutching his face like Pedro did or his knees like Alves did. Cheating nevertheless but different degrees. Barceloa does it on purpose, their cheating is methodological and consist of two steps i) a player not only dives but exaggerates the 'injury' by holding his face (even when there is absolutely no contact) and roll around on the floor as if in terrible pain only to jump up shortly afterwards and ii) 4-5 of the other players consistently surround the ref and scream for him to take action. That's a different level of cheating that very few teams go to. I still think that when given the chance, they play the most beautiful football around but after yesterday's unsportmanlike behaviour, my estimate of this Barcelona team dropped by quite a few notches. Exactly. They did the same for many times already. Remember Motta last year?

Interesting. Feign injury for red card is even worse than wrestling imo but you guys think the opposite?
-
Never heard of Coentrao? Are you kidding? Check it out in google/FM man.
-
Why not give some play time to Ranger or Airey but playing this guy? I cannot understand.
-
I feel sorry and pity for Arsene.
-
I think it's the feeling of "playing for the team' v "playing for himself" that leads to the debate.
-
imo it's too negative to aim for just a draw against Blackpool, which obviously we have the abilities to get all the 3 points. Though I understand that if we lose the match we are in real trouble and the 1 point we gained is probably just enough for staying in EPL. That's the experience we hope for.
-
I dunno which to blame, the players or the manager.
-
He is just trying to let us easier to accept his decision to leave. I understand Jose.
-
Enrique needs a wake up slap
-
Yup, no one's questioning Carroll, while seems everyone's questioning Ranger. Countless people were questioning Carroll two years ago. I remember reading on here about how s**** he was and he was championship level at best, but he wouldn't never make it at that level due to his awful attitude. I mean the lack of effort at training, not football - ability.
-
I agree with you but I did see some referees give out penalties for that.
-
I didn't pay attention before, so, what has Lennon done before that leads to so many troubles from the 'fans"?
