Could you imagine the fuss made HAD Terry hit that penalty in? Mr Chelsea leads Chelsea to glory. It would have been known to be the John Terry Champions League final, some wankers would have been calling for a knighthood. The open letter is rubbish really, if any Chelsea fans think they deserve an apology then they are a joke. The guy was going to score or miss, it doesn't take away what he has done for the club.

Of all the right sided players we have been linked with I would be happiest with SWP. IMO he was unlucky to lose his Chelsea place as he was playing well. He would improve our team and hopefully he had a good relationship with Keegan at City, so that would help in negotiations, I assume that a number of clubs would be after him.

Thing is we had better players around Cole back then than we do now around Martins. I can see what you are saying but on his day he is one of if not our best players! I think it would be a bad idea to sell the guy unless we had a better player lined up to replace him!

I think its a good idea but would like to see a rule where 1 player has to be club trained. Whether that means a senior player who has worked his way throught the system or a young up and coming hopeful. I know it won't make a big difference but that way we could see Zambrella on the bench a few times. Say we are winning comfortably with 20 minutes left it would be a good way of giving him big match experience without the massive pressure.

If we could get him cheap but I don't think we could I wouldn't mind seeing Heskey and then someone with more long term view in mind. I am sure I'll get shot down for mentioning Heskey but on his day he can be close to unplayable. If we could get him for the 3-5 million mark I would jump at the chance. Doubt we could get him for that little a price and I wouldn't want to spend more on him given his recent injury record.

I dont think it has as much of an effect at lower league clubs. I think Swansea will struggle next season if they dont add to their current squad. Swansea have a very strong 1st team, I think the 1st 11 are capable of a mid table finish but they need numbers, the back up are shocking. Swansea lost both full backs to injury lately and their replacement are non league standard at best. Hopefully they can keep hold of Loan player Anderson from Liverpool and keep other Championship clubs away from players like Scotland and Bodde!

It has had the opposite effect for Swansea City. The Vetch field was a dive but created an excellent atmosphere, so the worry whe we moved to the Liberty Stadium would be that the atmosphere would not carry in a half empty stadium. To be fair they have done really well at the Liberty which has resulted in promotion to the championship this season!

Zola was fantastic and probably my number 1. Excellent pro great attitude. Schmeichel would be in my top 3 along with Cantona.

This is silly..... I am not saying this as a bitter Swansea person, I am actually happy that they will get a European place if they win, but for the Welsh FA to overturn a ban of purse is daft. Surely this can't be right. UEFA didn't over turn the bans for Scholes or Keane or numerous others that have missed out on European Cup Final. Ashton in Smith out!!! I would jump at that to be honest. Not seen much of Cuellar, plus I am dubious about signing a highly rated Rangers defender(I wonder why?) Not sure if we need Baines, I think Enrique has settled well in 2008 after a run of games. Rather get a young gun in as his cover, but hey, if we can get Baines in on the cheap and doesn't grumble at being back up then great!!

I can understand Barton being on that list but as the worst of the season. Do me a favour. As someone said he is not even our worst signing. The last 3rd of the season he has started showing glimpses of what he can do. I think most of us can agree that when he first got back in the team after injury he was woeful. Off the field he has been a problem yes. If the court cases don't go tits up for us, I think he can make an impact for us next season, KK seems to have faith in him aswell and there have been far less grumbles about his performances lately.

Not seen him play that much, the way people were getting excited about the possibility of signing him made me gutted when I heard the news this morning. Spurs obviously have the financial clout to compete with us, the location and they can offer European football. Hopefully he wasn't our No1 target!!! By the way KK was talking about him yesterday or thursday suggested he expected to lose out on the guy.

I have been impressed with all of our defenders lately, Faye looked shakey v Pompey at times. I am really taking to Enrique, I think he can develop into a top Premiership player. Looks a bit rash at times but this is his first season (half of it being fucked around). Thinks are looking really promising.

How many corners do teams score from? As someone said there is a fine line between a good and bad one. It was just frustrating yesterday as so many hit the 1st man and we had so many. I don't know if it was worth getting someone else to ping one or two in? His free kicks were excellent though.

I don't think we will finish above West Ham, but its a good turn around of events that we are even talking about the possibility of finishing above them when 2 games ago it looked possible that we could go down. There is no harm in aiming to finshing above West Ham and I am sure Keegan will be aiming for that.

I think we can get something out of the Spurs game, if we can put in a performance that is like the Brum 2nd half and our 1st half v Fulham we have every chance. Spurs can score for fun at the moment though so hope the defence can cope with them. Can see this being a very entertaining high scoring game.

Barton is so poor at the moment. He needs a major time out. Maybe his off field troubles are getting to him. Whether you thought he was quality or not in the past he is a shadow of that at the moment. The boy can hardly pass, has no pace and seems as week as a 15 year old player. It must be difficult for Keegan as there is not exactly a whole host of players knocking the door down to get in the team. IMO the 2nd half performance of the team was a big improvement, I was glad that Owen went looking for the ball. Viduka looked tired later on and I think we would have been better served with keeping Martins on instead. For me Geremi was very frustarting, he did alot of things really well then you just look at those corners. The 2nd half gave me encouragement that we can go and beat Fulham on Saturday, we must start well so the crowd are on our side. If we can improve on that 2nd half for the rest of the season we should be okay. However, we look so fragile at the back, both Taylor and Faye had my nerves on edge all night.

Could you imagine the uproar if he said well they are pretty awful and I think they will go down. He said he thinks we'll be okay. Which is what a lot of people think, by the way I think we are awful and could go down, but we'll probably survice because Fulham and Reading are even worse, so also IMO we will be too good to go down. Hope this doesn't come back and bite me.
