It's Champions League week. As far as I am aware They aren't allowed to show other games live while the champions league is on. And we always traditionally play mid week games on Wednesdays.

I cannot believe you could be arsed to watch the game back and analyse it minute by minute and noting down a single players errors FFS. I thought he was decent going forward and made a few errors defensively but his pace gets him out of bother.

Seems daft saying it in September and especially after the reasonably decent start we've had, but this is a must win game both for making sure we stay in touch at the top but more so for our fragile looking confidence as every little set back seems to hit us hard.

Is Mbemba fit though? Tiote looked like a Michelin man, blowing out of his arse just running on to the field to take part. Very poor finishing from Gayle and Diame cost us that game. Diame is very good in flashes but doesn't do enough over 90 minutes. Hope Yedlin isn't seriously injured as we have a problem with Anita still suspended on Wednesday.

As nervy and iffy as he is it was our shite finishing that cost us the game.

Not if we played the full backs who started against Wolves in the cup game. Yes I know Lazaar was supposedly iffy but I expect he'll settle in the more games he plays. There was no supposedly about it, he was an absolute crock of shit.

Mess's with my head playing Tuesdays. So used to us playing our mid week games on Wednesdays it makes me think it's Thursday the next day, especially this week when a lass who usually works in here on Thursday and Friday did an extra day on Wednesday. Not arsed for the next round though as i'll be in the USA at the time.

I'm fairly sure we have beaten Villa before. I'm pretty sure that we have a better record against villa (in the PL at least) than against any other team.

A post on a wolves forum from someone who was there lays the blame fairly and squarely on a bunch of kids on the coach he travelled on and this was backed up by a couple of others. said they were a pain on the coach up, got thrown out of The Strawberry for causing bother and spent the whole game in the top corner banging on the advertising hoardings and goading and shouting abuse at our lot who finally snapped on 85 minutes. he also says they were ashen faced and quiet as mice when they got back on the coach as they had no escort etc back to the coach and the other wolves fans were left alone with what he describes as a lynch mob focusing solely on the half dozen kids who'd worked their ticket and who had shat their pants.

Desperate for us to beat these. Need the points to stay in touch at the top, but also because I detest them. SOTV

Darlow - Good game, a massive upgrade on Sels Yedlin - His pace gets him out of trouble, did well going forward Lazar - Chronic, really really poor both going forward and defending Clark - Good game Hanley - Good Game Shelvey - looked fit and hungry, played well Diame - he makes things happen, played a lot better than he did on Saturday but does have a tendency to hang on to the ball too long instead of passing Colback - credit where it's due he had a decent game Ritchie - Bloke is class. Gouffran - Cracking goal, cracking work rate, silly and needless booking Murphy - has a good touch, won a lot in the air, worked really hard but missed what looked like a sitter live late on. Subs - Ayoze - was poor again imo Lascelles - okay in the shot time he was on Atsu - He did okay, nothing special mind.

He was abysmal.

They got 1500 tickets for tonight compared to 3200 on Saturday. I'm assuming they're in the leazes/eaststand corner.
