  1. Glad we beat these absolute cunts. Fucking tossers with delusions of grandeur. Still talking about how they won the European cup nearly 40 years ago, despite the fact that the pinnacle of their last 25 years or so has been reaching the heights of Premier League also rans.
  2. We could do with a couple of dodgy pens if we really want justice for last time round. As well as a offside goal in our favour, oh and them having one disallowed for fuck all, and also a clear cut pen for them not given, and..
  3. Classless cheat with far too many refs in his pocket.

    FIFA World Cup

Nah we should just tell them to fuck off like, paying a fine is as good as admitting wrong doing and there hasn't been any.
  5. They were the same last time we were in this league, an incredibly small time club bitter as fuck that their time in the top flight is now over for good.
  6. It seems like you can if you want to, for some reason. The referee just really wanted to send Dummett off. I remember reading about that, but can't find any mention of it now. EDIT: Found it, its only for accidental fouls.. erm surely that's not a pen anyway if its a accident
  7. Hope they get a lucky draw, that'll be enough to halt the slide in the eyes of Parish and co. Then they can start planning for Pardews next transfer window
  8. When we first signed him he looked very classy, his first touch, the way he'd turn away with the ball, he was often our best players in his early days here. He's still young and has a long contract, no reason what so ever to need to sell.
  9. Sorry for the crap quality of image but never getting to it my arse. He's in a better position than Snodgrass just as the ball is about to be saved and as a defender you have to expect the worst. He is very much at fault along with Sels for that goal Plenty at fault for the goal, especially Sels and Hayden. Lazaar was at fault for ball watching, though the ball rolls to the perfect position for Snodgrass to run onto it.
  10. I only remember 1 save of note by both GK's in normal time. You do usually count the shots on target as the barometer for how well a team is performing. We had lots of shots on target in extra time once we had a better outlet with Atsu providing the service. I can remember a few times their keeper was tested, I can remember once ours was. I think the header their keeper saved might have been from Clark, excellent chance, again can't remember if it was normal time or extra time and not really bothered, it all counts.
  11. Yes he was, did you miss the game like? EDIT: He was tested on other occasions, I didn't mention every shot we had on target. There was another great headed chance we had that their keeper saved for instance.
  12. We didn't create much at all in the second half no, but we created a few in the first half and a few in extra time, Hull barely created any real chances.
  13. Gayles shot in the first half and Diame's header were in extra time? I'm not talking about Diame's goal, he had a almost free header right in front of goal in normal time.
  14. We had two good chances just before we scored in extra time (not sure why it has to be only normal time like), hit the bar with one of them. Gayle got through in the first half and could have scored, Diame's header right in front of goal was a clear cut chance. Not sure if Hull even had more than one shot on target..
  15. If Leeds ever get there it won't be with Monk.
  16. Hype. Granted, it is remarkable how reputable, switched-on managers like Pochettino still fall for it, but when £30m represents slightly more than pocket change for English CL clubs, signings like this will continue to happen. Its still 16% of Tottenham's total revenue last year. Remove all the normal expenses (wages ect) and its pretty much everything they had. No doubt in the coming year revenue will increase again, they can certainly afford it, but its still going to be a significant chunk of their cash flow.
  17. Ignoring the fact Rafa has turned the entire club around I guess. Also ignoring the fact that Leeds are 11 points behind us. People are going on as if we're in a comparable position but Benitez has gotten their the easy way with lots of cash ect. In reality they're nowhere near us. Same goes for the manager of the month thing. Leeds have lost and drawn in the league in October, got 10 points for the month. We've won every game and have 15 points for the month. Not to mention we won our cup game in October 6-0 while they drew theirs. Again not even comparable.

Fucking hell Sterling really is shite. England breaking forward with Rose and he steps in, takes it off the feet of Rose and completely halts the move.

How the fuck can this Scotland side not have Matt Ritchie in it?
  20. This Sissoko thing is even worse though IMO, completely mental, makes literally no sense at all.

    Alan Shearer

I don't know, I mean Ronaldo's hit over thirty in La Liga six seasons in a row, three of those seasons he's scored forty or over just in the league. Messi's scored over thirty five times and once scored 50 in the league in one season! These are 38 game seasons as well. You mention Shearer doing it three times but two of those seasons were were 42 game seasons. Would be good if Ronaldo came back to the Premier League soon or Messi came over, than we could get a better idea. But I still think Premier League is tougher overall, no team can just turn up and dominate every game.

    Alan Shearer

Of course he would. Like I said earlier, players with half of his ability have done exactly that, which is why this whole thing about our league being tougher is lost on me. :don't know: Tougher than La Liga yeah. As far as wether Messi/Ronaldo would get 30+ goals a season, its impossible to say. My own opinion is they'd certainly reach that number but not consistently. You mention earlier players that have done it in this league (Suarez, Aguero, Hazard). Those three have certainly been successful. But only one of those hit 30+ in the league and he only did it once (31 for Suarez in his final season). Ronaldo hit 31 goals in the Premier League once, didn't come close any other season. Yet he's only failed to get 31+ once in his time in La Liga, often scoring 40+ in the league.

Maybe if they were top 4 () they'd manage to get their current attendance but with everyone actually paying to be there?
  24. Sean Dyche saying on SSN that Pardew did a great job here, just added Dyche to the list of people I'd like to punch.
