Yep, a couple of losses and this board goes into meltdown. Pinch of salt needed desperately; top of the league and a run in with only Leeds who could really worry us. As for the two strikers argument, I like the system we use, we just lack a decent Nº10 who can battle and who can work as a second striker also, diame and perez just not up to it. Shelvey has one off game and it completely affects the whole team (ritchie/anita very bad also). We need someone to accompany him,Colback is lamentable... Still top, we will still be promoted and Rafa will also surely see where we are lacking. Come on!

Didn´t see the game, How did Anita play? I can only imagine very good defensively (the result) and taking pressure off us through neat passing. Also, what was Murphy like in all round play; linking play, headers, going wide and runnig channels?

Shelvey did´nt put a pass wrong, but we didn´t think he did much becuase brighton pressed us so high up the pitch. The defenders were shi* scared to bring the ball out so shelvey dropped in to the defensive line every time, which meant his passes were limited... Ritchie had a bit of a bad patch a few games back but he has been excellent the last few. I also thought Atsu was pretty rubbish until the last twenty minutes, upgrade on Gouff or whoever tho

Centre midfield... aaaaargh! I really prefer him as a wing back, has looked much more at home in that position. Got sick of him being overrun/bullied in the midfield and my peepee boiled every time he tried for a header...

Imagine when rafa has the funds to buy four players who will take us up a level: Nº10, works hard and scores/creates, something very hit and miss at the moment A partner for shelvey (imagine Viera/Keane/Kante...) A ball playing centre back (an upgraded Mbemba??) to partner one of our current lot Top class striker, is gayle prem standard.. and what happens when he´s injhured??? Makes me salivate... If we kept the current squad and got the above (plus a left back), I reckon we would reach top half next year

How many minutes has Mitro had (and not impressed) and how many Murphy? My money goes on Murphy for better value for minutes!!

Really impressed me in his cameo appearances. Based on the evidence he should always start before misstro

Finished as far as I´m concerned. He has had more than enough opportunities to show what he can do and he probably has done so on a ratio of 10:1. Murphy has contributed to the team a lot more than Mitro in the few times he´s been on the pitch. Agree he needs loaned out, see if he can recover some form and sell him on, system doesnt suit him either.

The stand out points for me were as follows: -The ref´s decision for the penalty was as bad as it gets. But, it looked like they were the team that were odds on to score in the first half. -Our centre backs are scared to bring the ball out, I thought we were very laboured bringing the ball past halfway (until ritchie decided to help out ). -Rafa´s subs were sublime! The Murphy effect was brilliant... why we have been playing Mitro instead of him completely bewilders me! -Atsu looks like he is getting to match sharpness, real quality! -Diame lumbers in the Nº10 position but plays the box to box midfield position a lot better (going from last couple of 10 min cameos) -Jack colback needs to be given a polonium supplement or similar, what a dog! -Brightons attempt to play quick one touch football was really nice to watch -Albeit Darlow saved a couple of good ones, he still made a couple of blatant mistakes (coming out for corner and not taking defender out) and is worrying me for our return to prem (still young though)

Ali is exactly what we need instead of diame and perez. N.b. I do not think for a minute we would try. The No10/ attacking midfielder position is that nondescript position that ali currently plays anz fits so well in the 4231 formation

The game was well under control until colback did his thing. Blackburn had a good five mins which we should be able to ride out... so funkin annoying

The positions where we have been lacking are no10 and on the wing. For the squad we need cover for shelvey and hayden. Any buys that will strengthen these will make us a lot stronger...

Much the same, a pacy forward who can play a couple of roles up front or even the no10 position where we are crying out for someone to take responsibility for that psotion. For me a "Remy" like striker would be great or a fiesty bellamy like grafter with pace.

An improvement on Colback and some real competition to help improve Hayden. Thumbs up`here as well
