  1. If we want an over weight skilled unmotivated player I would rather have Ronaldo.

Note* Not one defender in that list. Note* Regardless if there was we still would have only got a draw at Wigan. Chelsea have still been winning without any CB`s fit. Alot of the shite teams above us have worse defenders yet they can score goals and still win. All teams conceed the odd goal from freak shots and freekicks, doesn`t metter who you have defence as long as you midfield and strikers can score a goal or 2. How many games have we lost 1-0 because we can`t score. I fail to see how its our defence that is always the problem. Not many teams these days in the premiership win without conceeding.
  3. Not far from me then. Next time I go up for a game I will let you know. I have been holding off going until we play good football again. So it will probably be next season.
  4. Where are you mate, I always thought you were from up there.
  5. Sounds like he has what Dyer had. He was back in a couple of weeks for 2 years.
  6. We need Dr Spectrum to post that picture up again man of him on Footy Focus. Glad to see a Southerner using the word Charva as well. I live in broadstairs in south east kent and have found myself using the word charvas cos of this site!!! "Until recently, chav was a word that had largely been confined to the southern reaches of the British isles and in the bitchiest of newspaper columns and websites." Dent has traced the current origins of chav to Popbitch, but there are a number of different theories about how it came about. The word expert Michael Quinion, a fieldworker for the Oxford English Dictionary, who runs his own website, World Wide Words, believes chav has existed as far back as the middle of the 19th century. "When it came into common usage recently, it was associated with Medway towns, such as Rochester and Chatham, but it is not a term particular to that area," Mr Quinion said. "It is also known in Oxford and in much of southern England as a derogatory term. The evidence is that this word has been lurking around in the language for a long time. "It has almost certainly come from the Romany word for a child, chavi, recorded from the middle of the 19th century as a slang term. What is not known is whether it has dropped out of the language altogether, but that would be unusual. The implication is that the word has never quite gone away." So why is it good to see a southerner use the word Chav. We have been calling Chavs chavs for years. No fucker likes them no matter where they come from, north or south. As for picking up the word chav from this site Markluk where have you been locked away for the last 5 years? charva not chav u mong, as BottledDog said! So you started adding an A on the end because of this forum ? Am I missing something ? Is a Chav and Charva not the same thing ? So your saying your easily influenced ? Yet you call me a mong for mis-understanding ? Mate, people where i live say Chav, yet have found myself saying charva because i have read it on this forum, it was just a bloody pointless comment why are you making a big deal of it! Because i`m at work bored. I thought you were implying that Chav was new to you and the south, obviously not knowing you were stating that you now add a couple of letters for the sake of it. Here down south only the snobs say Char-va in a queens english type of way. I`m not making a big deal of it, i`m passing away the time. Didn`t apreciate being called a mong though, luckily I havn`t got Downs Syndrome so its not too insulting.

  9. Quality. Not the bits where they think they are high and mighty but how they sum some people on here up . It made for a different read.

    Gooch

I was half expecting Bramble to get overly mocked as usual on saturday so when I watched the 90 mins I decided to focus on the 3 CB`s and count each players mistakes. In the first half Taylor made 5 Bramble 2 and Gooch 0 . In the second half Taylor 3 Bramble 2 and Gooch 2. Nearly all the mistakes were from Bellamy turning them or getting in behind apart from one time Taylor played Bellas onside when the rest had stepped up. Considering Taylor played RB , Bramble & Baba back from long injuries and Gooch being new to the prem I thought the defence were good and you could notice the improvement between the 3 who played last week without changing it around to much. The goal wasn`t even conceeded due to the defence, it was a keeper error.
  11. Bramble played RB at Ipswich ? Thats news to me. Taylor played there alot under Souness. The goal wasn`t even conceeded due to the defence, it was a keeper error. As for the point about Solano I take it you didn`t notice how much we needed him in the rm position against Fulham. Was Taylor that bad that you would want to sacrafice Solano at RM ? I don`t think Baba was that bad considering it was his first game back in a while and other circumstances.
  12. Good result. I wasn`t at the match and i`m not going to form my opinions like some on here from radio commentry and a dodgey stream. I hope we are Match of the day on sky later. I wonder how Micheal Owen felt, mixed feelings I guess. I sent a message to Bramble " Do the business on Mickeys team" .
  13. TBH I was joking, it wasn`t that bad. You were only making a suggestion for something to discuss. I still go with the fact I would rather have Dyer in our team.
  14. Are you on Crack? .....i would rather keep Dyer anyway if his injury problems are behind him. How old is Sheva nowadays?
  15. Carrick miss placed every pass. He was woeful. Dyer, Woodgate and Rio played well. I was no fan of Lampard at the WorldCup but he played better than Gerrard once he got into his own position.
  16. Commentators Curse. Like last night - "Curtis Davis has done well to stay on his feet" - Que player slipping over instantly. Also crap clueless commentators that don`t even know their job or facts. Also when they call Babayaro Ameobi for example just because they are both black. Also when they are commentating on a CL game and start pronouncing English names in a foreign accent.
  17. Good post. I think it was strange to put Gooch straight in the back 4 away from home when Taylor was doing well there. Correct me if i`m wrong but surely a good understanding of eachother is more important at the back. I`m sure Fergie hardly used Vidic in his first year at the club. This gave him time to adjust and get to know how the team plays. The thing that stops us doing this is that Roeder has 12 games now to decide if he wants to permanantly take him.
  18. Butt could have atempted to kick against the 2 players in his face for another throw or passed it to Bramble in space. It looked to me like he crossed it instead hoping to reach Gooch but it fell short. Carr could have thrown up field as said.
  19. I think he's had a reasonbly good game, but people are jumping on that one moment of poor composure that forced him into a foul that, had distance to goal been shorter, may have been viewed as denial of goal scoring opportunity and a send-off. Pretty typical - a solid game for 89 minutes and one or two frightening moments. typical bramble, fairly decent match with two moments of madness. simply can't afford to have someone in the team who makes huge errors in every match, regardless of how well their general play is. Exactly. Indigo, you make yourself look a bit daft defending him constantly imo. "Meaningless free kick" - If he doesn't foul Helguson, he's 1 on 1 with Harper having given the ball away. It's hardly an isolated incident from the useless twat either. Sorry, but no. What's daft is the sad sad sad need of nearly everyone on here to jump on the bandwagon and scapegoat particular players if things go wrong, regardless of whether or not it was anything at all to do with them. NOTHING that Bramble did today lead to us losing that game, we lost because of a stupid backpass from Nicky Butt and because Carr got raped all game and that's it. Sorry if that doesn't fit with what people want to believe but that's the truth. You lot can believe it or not, frankly I could give a shit really. You know what, I hope they do get rid of Bramble, because when we continue to be disorganised at the back, I'll have the satisfaction of knowing that I was right and you lot were clueless!! Anyway, bollocks to this, I'm off to watch the end of the rugby, see you later. No hard feelings? Its a lost cause indi. I gave up ages ago. I have even posted stats that proved we let in 9 goals in 13 games with Bramble in the team and 25 in the following 13 without. I asked what happened for the second goal and was told the Fulham player breezed past 3 of our players and THEN past Bramble but its not the first 3 players fault its Brambles. Without watching the game in person or on TV I will reserve judgement until later. I thought if we are to blame individuals it would be Butt and Carr. As for Wullie calling him a useless twat I can`t take that seriously coming from a skinny boy with glasses holding a cat. The second goal was the fault of Carr, so I don't know who's blaming Bramble. Bramble should have been sent off for a foul on Helguson, who was clear on goal after Bramble gave him the ball 30 yards out. The fact that the referee let him off doesn't change the fact he's a constant liability, always likely to make a total balls-up. Couldn't really give a stuff what you think of me tbh. You just make yourself sound like a prat with comments like that imo. Good on the referee then..he let of a NUFC player for once. Happens all the time to opposition, them getting let off. So whats your problem with it? I heard Gooch would have got back in time. I can`t say too much as I havn`t seen the match, Indi stated he had seen it live so I will go with opinion. As for my comment about you, you just seem like an angry little man. We all hate losing , but we never do well at Fulham do we? The result hasn`t shocked me as we have had 3 seasons of this inconsistant madness now, i`ve got used to it. Its just every post you have made is slagging someone off like there has to be blame. Nothing constructive just name calling. According to you Roeder is a mong and Bramble is a twat aswell as another comment I can`t remember.

  21. Hopefully this will give us an opportunity to play whoever is in form. Taylor and Bramble are both known for having blinding games and poor games with no inbetween consistancy. With Goon being 24 yrs old he will probably be inconsistant too. So this all works in our favour.
  22. That made me laugh, imaging Milner thinking, i`m going to score here but If I can just rebound it in off someones head, looks up, Dyers will do. Seriously though I think he knew what he was doing.
  23. Whoever announced MOM couldn`t even get Martins name right, how embarrassing was that.
  24. Alot of the good CAM aren`t that good at tackling. Its the linking between attack and midfield with the odd goal that counts. Scholes can`t tackle for shit but it doesn`t make him a striker. He did play well upfront and proved he can score good goals with his head too.
  25. What part of his game didn`t you like ? The clearence off the line maybe ? or the one where he dive headed it off carew`s boot? Or maybe it was the clearences that actually past the halfway line and not straight to an opposing player like Ramage. Maybe you didn`t like it when he did Hunty`s job and stopped Carews cross. Was just his and Taylor`s general mopping up after Carr kept missing the headers and getting muscled off the ball because Carr`s a midget too crap? You have no concept of football. It`s because we have no RB or LB that our defence always looks a mess. About the text speak I don`t use it , but to actually moan about it you have to be one hell of a geek or over 50 years old.
