If we really want him out then this is a good article. Not the article itself but the fact that non-NUFC people are picking up on it. Things usually only happen when neutrals start writing about how crap he is.

Surely then he would have just said I want to remain at Chelsea without the reference to staying in England. I think he knows this is the best league in the world.

http://msnsport.skysports.com/list.aspx?hlid=460098&CPID=8&clid=8&lid=3&title=Jose's+Blues+future+doubt&channel=& Jose Mourinho was brimming with delight after Chelsea had fought back from a goal down at Valencia to clinch a place in the UEFA Champions League semi-finals, but again thrust his own future at Stamford Bridge into the spotlight. Mourinho's charges answered their coach's half-time rallying call as they fought back from a goal down to claim a stunning 3-2 aggregate success. Michael Essien's 90th-minute goal left the Spanish faithful in the Mestalla in a state of shock, but pushed Chelsea into the last four. Mourinho was full of praise for his players, particularly the returning Essien, but also cast doubt over his long-term future at Chelsea. The Portuguese's relationship with owner Roman Abramovich is believed to be strained, despite reports that the supposed rift has lessened, and Mourinho admitted he may be forced to move on. He said: "What I want is to remain in England with Chelsea but sometimes in life you cannot get what you wish and what you want. "If I can't coach there I would like to coach another team

http://www.newcastle-online.com/nufcforum/index.php?topic=38349.0 Now I know it wasn`t an unreliable source, It was a falling out between him and the owners. Its been going on for some time, probably linked to the major dip in form. He wanted money to spend in January and this summer but wasn`t given or promised enough. He lost Saha, Boa Morte, Van Der Sa, Radsinki (?), Malbranque and legwinski. Its probably why he always over inflated prices when we enquired about players as he knew the club would retain most of the cash he made from sales.

I didn`t realise we played ourselves.

lol great minds think alike

Ah ok, I couldn`t think of anyone older. Apologies NE5.

On prem plus on sunday they interviewed some fans about Roeder, I thought here we go they will find all the fans who will back him. To my suprise they more or less said the same as we have on here apart from one apathetic fan that wanted to give him more time, the other 4 or 5 had nothing good to say. The funny thing was I think NE5 was on there, some old bloke raving about how he has supported NUFC for 54 years and that he has never seen such dross.

Remember when even that tosser Souness inspired a win against Arsenal was less talent on the pitch in our team and more in Arsenals. The commentator on premplus said its strange how quiet the crowd was. Its because we have been brought down to Roeders level.
-
I have heard from an unreliable source that Chris Coleman is leaving Fulham, I don`t like the man but he would be an improvement on Roedent. Lets face it we won`t get a top manager.

Sheffield United 1 - 2 Newcastle - Post match thoughts

I thought the same, pity the kit is more black next season. -
Its because he is the only manager to answer the phone to the press. All the competent managers are busy working on Tactics, set peices and the team. He just sits in his office staring at the walls.

Roeder loves him, but what happens if/when Roeder leaves this summer? Howay then smartarse, what's funny? People need to get it into their head that Roeder is NOT going to get sacked! Who died and made you chairman ? People can speculate what they like as you are by saying he isn`t going.

I think it doesn`t have to be a tall man short man attack. Arsenal won a few Premiership titles more or less never scoring with a header and the ball on the ground. England play better when its Owen and Rooney, two short men. Owen and Martins are both very good in the air anyway. Martins needs to bulk up a bit more and get coached a bit better. I think next season will bet the season Martins will shine or flop. If only we had a decent manager to make the most of Duff, Dyer , Martins and Owens pace.

Indeed he is another Parker? Its very worrying if he is to replace Emre. Looks like he is another hard working crap player. I havn`t seen enough of him to pass judgement without stats but he has committed the most fouls in the premiership this season.

I have already heard this and have said a bit about it after the Man City game. The amount of players that are going or Roeder wants to go along with the views of other players being shite on here would leave us with too many to buy. Souness already tried to buy a whole team to make up for his lack of managerial ability, it failed then and it would fail again. Roeder has to go first.
-
Harper - Only this season though. Carr - Since the first day he signed Viana / Luque - Both could have bust a blood vessel actually trying to make things work out. I think I have picked quite recent players ( i`m only 30 so not meaning players decades ago ) because i`m quite a forgiving person after a year or so.

He is starting to sound like Freddie now. Crediting us with one collective brain cell again.

I have just thought, Europe has been a distraction to the fans this season. If we weren`t doing ok there then I feel Roeder may have been under pressure sooner. Just looking at this peice from the thread, it didn`t bother me so much at the time because we thought we would do really well in Europe. I mean, Charton took 4 points off us, Man City took 4 , Fulham took 6, Smoggies 4, the list goes on. These are the teams who should be frightened of facing us, not the other way round. You missed out the 3pts we gave too Sheffield Utd at home, make that 6pts from next week we have lost to them at there ground and the 3pts we gave Wigan.

Most up to date opta stats, not clear cut but gives an indication. I would say Foster has looked good this season. I agree, this is what I was saying yesterday in another thread, now to still go on about it, its clear ha has already lost touch with some of the players, lets hope its the right ones. I didn`t see the game but it is possible to lose the dressing room if your in the press all week saying you want to get rid of all your players and that they are basically pussies with no bottle oh and maybe saying also that only 3 players are his! Also he blamed AZ on them and side stepped blame. How would you feel playing for this twat ?

Wasn`t this under a title called BBC News this morning? or is this a duplicate thread ?

mackems.gif "Aston Villa huge potential fan base" mackems.gif a club who haven't averaged over 40,000 in half a century. Rangers - mid table Premiership team standard players mackems.gif "PIERCE" - Who? Mary Pierce? "Heskey in the Championship with Bruce", did he move back? Oh to have the knowledge of your average Euro96 band wagon jumper. i'll give you heskey then, can't say I do take much interest in the championship teams. Substitute his name for Andy Cole if you like, point still stands as for your other points, laughable and ludicrous as ever You obviously don`t take much notice of Premiership teams either as you would know that Heskey plays for one.

He has been quoted this week saying he is happy with those 4 for next season.
