I dont know how good he is at FM, but he is one of the best defensive midfielders in Tippeligaen(the norwegian league). He is very strong and is a fantastic header, seems like he reads the game very well also. The norwegian league is crap ATM so its hard to tell if he would make it in the big league.

He sounds like a Bellamy kind of player from what your saying here, I hope he has the pace of Bellamy as well. If we sign Long, I still want atleast one more striker. If we don't sell him we can give him a fair chance, but then he have to show himself in training and in games of course.

Messi is maybe playing for the best team in the world atm, and I cant see him joining another club either. The big question about Messi is how good/great would he be for a side were he didnt have 10 world class players around him, to give him movement and space. For Argentina he hasnt been able to dominate as much as he has done for Barcelona, thats why I wont put him with the greatest, but i would put him in the greatest team of all time I think.

Dont think he is perma-crocked. He has played normally around 30-38 games each season, except this last one. But i think he had a big injury when he joined West Ham. We should def have a look at him, dont think he would take to high wages either.

I easily take Annan on free with a low contract. Would be an ok backup for Tiote. Still think we should sign Thomas Hitzlsperger on free transfer. Then we would have someone who isn't afraid to shoot from long range. I think we need backups for Tiote and Cabaye. Vuckic can be a backup, but I feel it would be better to loan him out to gain some first team experience. Simpson has stagnated simply down to lack of competition, hopefully this summer will see us bring in someone to shake him out of it and move up another level. As it stands I can see people's concerns with Simpson, however I have faith in him improving beyond the player he is now as long as competition is brought in. Would prefer Clyne, though i'd be happy-ish with Spector at RB. We should go for Tom Høgli as our next RB. He managed to mark out C.Ronaldo when Norway played portugal last match. He would cost around 1M. Far from good enough. Heard that one about Hangeland before he joined Fulham. Høgli is a player who hardly puts a fot wrong and is ok(much like Simpsons) going forward. He would be a decent signing imo.

IMO if we sign BA, we need at least 2 more good strikers. And I dont mean signings like Xisco would be like a new signing type of signing.

If we get Ba then we should also go for hitzlsperger. It seems like they have a good understanding on the pitch. I think both would be excellent for us, hitz. can also play left back and have great shot as well.
