  1. "Bedwetting" on that forum
  2. The two clubs are in different places. This fabricated rivalry is their last hope of contact with the possibilty of the PL. This is a huge game in their season I suspect. Our huge games will be at the business end of the season. Dislike Birmingham City way more tbh.
  3. That and the character of the team which has been found wanting every time it's been challenged tbh. This game encapsulates my biggest NUFC fear: that the shitness of the Championship is papering over the cracks and we're not building a team with the fortitude for the PL. Our number one priority should be promotion. Since that's far from a guarantee (though today's loss really does nothing to shake my resolve), planning for next season needs to take a backseat. Couldn't disagree more they're the same thing for me, or at least they ought to be.

  5. Where's the quote? Scores, sent off or own goal.
  6. Good professional shift. Happy to get 3 points tbh. Hopefully the performances will come soon.
  7. Just got to my hotel, holy shit would have gone to this if I was home.
  8. Only watching this in the background, but staggered Chelsea aren't three or four goals clear.
  9. Thought he ran the show. Manoeuvred us around the pitch beautifully I felt. Even Cockblock was half decent. Yeah, I thought Shelvey was excellent again. So efficient with the ball At the risk of being defensive, it's Shelvey off the ball that concerns me most.
  10. No major complaints. Still not feeling Shelvey though. Want a team that is Premiership proof being built this season and don't think he's the man. Nor Colback, obviously. Happy with the 3 points though it doesn't sound it
  11. The guy even makes me nervous while watching the highlights His starting position does leave me a little edgy I gotta say.
  12. Pretty decent half. Well controlled when we went ahead. Dead proud of Lascelles and Mbemba. Insane hit from Gouff. Not seeing the progress I'd hope for in CM and open play attacking but still early days.
  13. Loss preferable today obviously, but more rope for Palace is good I guess.
  14. Doubt it. Can't see Wenger ever not favouring Giroud He benched a fully fit Giroud a few times last season going into big games, IIRC.
  15. It's possible. Long, long, long way to go for it to be a real possibility though. Rafa and the backing he has been given is a belated, enforced, start... but equally could be false dawn #437 before he reverts to type. As others have said, he was fairly instrumental in turning me off football so it'd have to be root and branch change from him, for a solid decade, with contrition, luck and success
  16. Could have sworn Dabizaz scored in that game... or maybe he just celebrated prominently?
