  1. Class player, wish we'd got him when he moved to Pompey. Keegan was quoted in January as saying there wasn't anyone available (in the window) who would have improved us. Didn't he move when we were between managers? I seem to remember that being the case.
  2. Smith tries his best as well, and he's another waste of fucking space on the pitch.
  3. Agreed. Barton and Guthrie have to start together, I'd have Geremi in the middle over Butt too.
  4. Class player, wish we'd got him when he moved to Pompey.
  5. I'm too upset to be angry with anyone without the initials NB at the moment.
  6. Absolute shite, it says players we, meaning more than one person, loved.
  7. Wouldn't go imo. Building a decent team at Sunderland, got shitloads to spend, seems to work well with the chairman and at a bigger ground. I think he's got the makings of a good manager.
  8. They're paying the price for being a selling club.
  9. Think Oba will be on the bench. I'd have Geremi in for Butt in that team, and I can't see any way that Duff won't start up top again.
  10. King is a big miss for them, although you're lucky if you get 20 games in a season out of him anyway, so it's to be expected.
  11. Aye. Awesome, didn't realise he was still playing. Always liked him as a player, that goal against Liverpool was different class.
  12. Was it THE Steve Watson who scored for Sheff Weds today?
  13. I don't know about flourishing, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Kinnear try to use Shola in a similar role to that which Heskey has recently been deployed in for England.

My old man said be a Sunderland fan, I said fuck off wanker, you're a cunt.
  15. Ken monkou is chelsea. Heskey is ivanhoe.
  16. No, don't drop him for the next game, because he's the best English left back by a mile.
  17. Fucking pathetic that the England fans were booing him every time he touched the ball. Cunts, anyone who was doing it.
  18. Nope. It was ok, few chants going round, but it all felt a little fake, as if it were a friendly. Everyone knew we were going to win, so no-one was nervous and it wasn't that exciting when we scored. Still a good day out mind, impressive stadium. There looked to be a hell of a lot of empty seats for a "sell out" as well.
  19. I thought the Cole booing was shocking. I'm not one of these who thinks giving stick to your own players is always a hanging offence (I could hardly think that when I give that prick Duff the dog's abuse) but how often does Ashley Cole (who is a cheating twat btw) have a bad game for England? If you boo a player for one mistake, you'd have to be booing permanently. That, and the cheering of Beckham every time he got the ball made it obvious to me that the crowd was made up of people who don't typically attend football matches. A shame for the England team iyam, football has become so overpriced that the man on the street can just about to go to his club's games but there's no way he can afford to stretch that to games at Wembley on top. It was like a fucking pantomime crowd. Around me the crowd was made up of exactly that type of person. My highlight was when the ignorant and loud bitch behind me left at 1-0.
  20. Lampard wasn't great today, but he was a damn sight better than Gerrard. Heskey did his job quite well. Ridiculous that Young didn't start. What's the capacity of Wembley? I know it was reported as a sell out but from where I was sitting there were a lot of empty seats knocking around, and they announced an attendance of 89k.
  21. No shame. Fantastic player and seemed to be a good pro to me, although some Welsh fans may disagree.
  22. FC United are doing alright are they not?
  23. Jamie Carragher always strikes me as being short of a chromosome or two.
