Incredibly poor from the ref to book him the second time. Just use some common sense. It's the last ten seconds of the game and he's trying to win the ball back. It's the fact that we look like absolute shit. As we did against West Brom, Watford, Bournemouth, Burnley, Brighton and Huddersfield. Unable to pass the ball, defensively all over the place, barely a tactical change mate during the game, same shit players picked week in week out while others don't get a chance. We have the same amount of points as Huddersfield and Brighton and have better squads. They also have a defined style of play and really go at sides at home. Yes, we should have spent more. No, it's not an excuse for us being this bad.

Not play a right winger with no pace at left back against one of the quickest in the league? Change it when left side is getting smashed? Address us being unable to pass the ball by putting our best passer on before the game is over? Put on a striker who can hold it up? The record goal thing is a lot to do with the state of international Football nowadays. Considering the amount of part time and lower league filled sides we play, anyone playing that many games up front would get that record. Kane will probably break it in the next 7 or 8 years.

Are our players much worse than Huddersfields? Some coaching on how to keep and pass the ball might be nice. Technique wise? yes they are. Merino was the only one today i was comfortable with controlling the ball under pressure, i feel like some tough decisions need to be made around players who were reasons for our promotion last year. Nonsense. Their three behind the striker was Ince, van la Parra and kachunga. Average as anything. Mooy was playing in Australia 2 years ago. They are coached to keep the ball and press when they don't have it. We are coached to sit off and I have no idea what we're coached to do when we have it. It would seem to be kick it away as soon as someone comes near us.
