Looks like we're going to play him right wing to accommodate him in the side so I'm more than happy to sell him if we use the money for a proper right winger. He does a decent job there but a winger who goes past his man and can cross the ball would be superb.
-
Howedes from Schalke would be superb. A real experienced leader to bring Mbemba and Lascelles along.
-
Who's the mid table team?
-
I wonder if Kemen is the reason why they seem to be happy to offload Abeid. Plan seems to be Colback/anita as a deep lying midfielder with Winegum box to box and De Jong off the striker. Kemen could be back up to Winegum with Ayoze back up to De Jong in that system.
-
Are we genuinely looking at Bigi as converting to right back or is it just because we have no fit defenders?
-
We're desperate for a young lad who can play right back. A Haidara type signing to cover Janmaat.
-
No problem at all with Sissoko wide right if we have quality in the middle. It was just infuriating when we had Hatem on the bench and Tiote+Anita in the middle.
-
I'm not sure you can blame Delph too heavily- he didn't have to sign and could have left on a free and probably got himself a bigger signing on fee. I assume Villa asked him to make a big deal about him staying and not mention the release clause.

Can't wait to see this high line with Colo, Taylor and Williamson. Regardless of us signing a centre back, one of them is likely to be first choice.

Yohan Cabaye (now sporting coordinator at Paris Saint-Germain)

Pardew isn't going to play 3 players that don't defend/are slow in that area [/quote Cabaye is a direct replacement for Puncheon in the system he played last year. Depressingly he played some really attacking formations there. -

He'll do really well there. Playing behind the striker with Bolasie and Zaha either side of him. If they nabbed Remy as well, that would be very dangerous. -
No idea about the surrounding areas but the City is absolutely dire.
-
Looks a talent but sounds a massive twat. I thought we were all about signing the right characters this summer? Still, McClaren doesn't have a history of being a massive twat so maybe he might be able to put an arm around the lad and sort him out.
-
I can't see West Ham keeping Austin, Valencia, Sakho and Carroll so we might see Carroll back here if that happens.
-
He's been released by Gateshead as a player hasn't he? Isn't that what he's referring to?
-
Only debate is whether phone call is adequate. Probably not- but wouldn't be surprised if it's common practice. Carver completely to blame for the nonsense with the phone being passed to Jonas. What an absolute imbecile.
-
The twats were given 3m for Pardew. Assuming his three muppet coaches get on average 200k a year each, 3m covers the entire cost.
-
Considering we let him go on trial at West Brom, I can't believe a conversation hasn't been had with him regarding not renewing his contract.
-
We only get compensation if he's been offered a contract. We're probably offering him a pitiful deal- if he signs it, no damage. If he doesn't, compo comes in.

Hull City 0-0 Manchester United - SUPER SUNDZzzzz

Both definately off. -
Their recent style of play isn't sustainable long term though. They still need huge work in the summer with probably 8 or 9 signings. Considering their recent record, that'll be a challenge.
-
Rene Girard is leaving Lille. He must be on the list somewhere.
-
I wonder if De Jong would stay. I'm sure he'd be in demand but he seems a bit honourable and may feel he owes us something. Obviously his wages may prove prohibitive but we kept Enrique, Colo, Nolan, Barton and Jonas last time we went down. A team like the below would be very competitive and would still allow for plenty of money to be made via Krul, Janmaat, Tiote, Sissoko, Anita and Cisse. Darlow RIGHT BACK Taylor/Lascelles CENTRE BACK Dummett/Haidara Abeid Colback De Jong Perez/Cabella Aarons STRIKER

Gaël Bigirimana rejoins Coventry on a permanent basis

If we don't go down it will be more of the same, the club will put out bullshit, they'll appoint another stooge, probably bring in a few players during the transfer window then we'll be back where we started and the whole cycle of shit will start all over again. When will people learn? Couldn't agree more. If we're committed to being rid of Ashley, we need to be relegated and maybe even be relegated again.
