At around 80mins 2nd half goal attempts were 9-1 in favour of WBA!!! It really looked like we actually tried to lose it. But you can rarely see 4 teams in one match...

At least Butt is out against WBA So maybe we'll see more creative midfield(Nacho or Zoggy) tomorrow...and whoever takes Butt's place hopefully performs good enough to keep Butt out of the starting XI permanently!

Exactly the starting XI I'd play but maybe Duff should be replaced with Zoggy. Against City Duff looked good though but today again back to his normal s**t. What's with Nacho Gonzalez? Why bother bringing him in if he's not getting any time to prove himself? Uruguay international starter can't be that bad...especially if you consider who's starting for us in the middle atm! or is he still injured? Maybe the most important part of the team(central midfield) is the only real flaw in the current team...this should be sorted ASAP. Sometimes it's funny to see Butt closing down opponent's deepest playing defender and then to see him jogging back so lazy when his actual job is to cover and protect our defence!

What he actually does to be in the team? Don't remmeber a single good game from hhim this season!!! Can't pass, too slow and take horrible tackles all the time and always way too late

As long as Butt plays in the middle and Geremi as a winger nothing's gonna chance! Barton is our best central midfielder at the moment and you'll never really know what kind of Barton will turn up when he's free to play again(hopefully not the one who he was at the beginning of the last season). We're in a desperate need of some quality in the middle in form of passing ability and creativity. What's the point of bringing of Nacho Gonzales in if he's not gonna play/given a chance? He's Uruguay NT playmaker so he can't be worse than Butt or Geremi really...maybe he's not in form or lacking match fitness but he's not going to get there unless he's given some time on the pitch! I'd play our best possible midfield Zoggy - Barton - Nacho/Guthrie - Jonas

With a quick calculation...8 points is possible but 6 looks realistic! Not exactly the most difficult schedule ahead but under the current circumstances we can abosolutely f*uck it up

Why exactly?...I mean he's a very good player, but his period at Newcastle has been a massive waste of money for the club and a massive waste of time in the "prime" of his career. I'm happy as long as he won't go for free!

How about Michael Laudrup? Definitely in the promising coach category and would play an attaractive style as well!

Apart maybe Barton at his best which he definitely hasn't been none of the guys deserves even half of their wages! Is it really any wonder why our younger first team players are asking for better contracts when they see who's getting and what in contrast to their performances on the pitch a la Smith?

I don't think Milner's need to be replaced...but exactly as one of the poll options was splash the cash on another central midfilder(creative and offensive one preferrably) My first midfield would be(diamond): New guy Zoggy Jonas Guthrie/Butt Then backups are needed at least for Jonas and this new playmaker. Skjelbred would do a great back for this so called wow signing( Arshavin )

I don't think KK's going to make any chances to a winning line-up/formation but I'd really like to see us playing a midfield as below... N'Zogbia Milner Gutierrez Guthrie Butt Jonas' preferred position is a RIGHT winger and as said like million times already Zog's not a defender but offers a lot more when going forward! Milner can't beat his man on the wing but could do a lot better in the centre because of his decent close control(not to mention his horrible crossing because it wouldn't be needed in the more central role). And against the Gunners...we defo should play 5 in the midfield with a lone striker(Owen...because Oba's out).
