  1. My immediate thought too. Cheeky b******. I fully understand all footballers are greedy mercenaries but after all the money f****** pinhead has picked up for giving a return of precisely f*** all is disgraceful. I hope he leaves and picks up a career ending injury at his new club. t***. The money Dyer has picked up was offered to him, you can hardly blame him for taking it. The disgrace is that people within our club offered it to him in the first place.

    The Fans

I agree with the apathy but I'm not even sure how much difference the fans make these days, very few Premiership grounds, if any, have a good atmosphere.

    The Fans

Do you think the fans are guilty?
  4. Performance was OK - maybe quite good - we held a very good side at home, but can anyone remember Petr Cech being tested or equally significantly them testing Harper ? No on both.
  5. Dyer did play well when he first returned from injury, now he's just like most of the other players and isn't normally motivated. None of our players show any hunger unless they think they are playing one of the better teams.
  6. Yoou know why we can't do it every week.
  7. I wouldn't blame Roeder for one player lacking motivation, that would probably be down to the player. The team lacking motivation on a regular basis is down to the manager, it's his job to manage his players and he's simply not up to the task.
  8. Who gives a shit what that makes Rochdale or Stoke? Other than you, obviously.
  9. "we're s*** they're alright" people wonder why i go off it at times at the level of crap posted on here at times. I can't see a problem with what he's posted.
  10. That is very likely as the Roeder effect will be hidden by the players motivating themselves, this type of form is the sign of a piss poor manager.
  11. The atmosphere should be OK as long as we're not a goal down.
  12. The stupid thing about our wages is that the squad numbers are reducing while the wage bill goes up, work that one out.
  13. Its good that you can admit to it, we all make mistakes.
  14. He'd been pushed out against his will, I don't blame him for going. We didn't want him before Shearers injury so why should he come back? Does anybody remember Dalglish going on TV and saying that he knew nothing about Ferdinand leaving, this was while Ferdinand was talking to Spurs.
  15. You're being too short sighted Dave, don't forget if we had kept Ferrdinand we'd never have seen Ian Rush pull on the Black & White shirt, every cloud has a silver lining.
  16. I can see quite a few in this thread that I could go for but Neil Macdonald being underrated? Never, I was over the moon to see us get so much money for him.
  17. It's a crap article that highlights the problems then goes about clearing those still at the club, they're all blameless, it's all the fault of Souness. The Chronicle writers have no balls.
  18. Let's hope he's not scouting, it could always be an interview for one of the top European clubs, maybe not.

Man U to make Owen bid

Sir Bobby spent less per year than any other manager since and including Keegan, maybe Shepherd should have done his sums if he was worried. Also take into account our league finishes and cup runs and I think Sir Bobby can hold his head up high, unlike most at the club today.

Glenn, I'll do anything for a game, go for it.

  22. Roeder didn't use injuries as an excuse because he didn't have to, he was in a no lose situation and under no pressure because Souness would have got the blame if things had gone pear shaped at the end of last season. He's the manager now and under pressure, his arse has gone and he's trying to blame anybody or anything that he can think of.
