Can't remember myself, I only used that as an example.

What is their injury situation? Is Zouma out?
-
Would absolutely take a point but West Ham looked knackered. Think their good first half of the season is taking its toll. We look fresh and bright, which is why changing things to keep freshness in the starting 11 is crucial.
-
Manquillo is injured for 2 weeks apparently. It's either Krafth as a right back or changing to wing backs, in order to bring Murphy in, or as I suggested possibly moving Fraser to wingback but that's highly unlikely.

It seems a strange thing to WANT Howe to change a winning side, but we have to proactive IMO. We are away from home, against a top half side, without Trippier. A small tweak to the 11 doesn't mean a change in philosophy or attitude. Give Shelvey a "rest" for the fitter Bruno and move Maxi into the middle to feed off his through balls. If it doesn't quite work, we can tweek it again for Brentford, who are on the ropes ATM.

If this was day 1 of an 18 game season, in a 4 team mini league and you gave NUFC a 4 point advantage, you would be fucking distraught if we didn't win the league, given the standard of opposition. We are 12th on form since Howe took over and 4th? in the last 5 games. Even without Trippier, I would expect us to improve as a whole. The only issue is how these players react to a defeat. If we tackle that obstacle, we will be fine. Liverpool and City aside, we can pick up points anywhere.

I haven't been to the Emirates or Spurs new stadium but for me they look entirely soulless. Seats look comfy though.
-
The stadium is our crown jewel. Even recently you have heard loads of pundits talk about the atmosphere and feel around the place, the stadium and its aura plays a massive part to this. 1. Expand St James in some way, even to just 60k. 2. Rebuild on existing site somehow. 3. New stadium in leazes park 4. Another city centre location I wouldn't even entertain the idea of it being moved to KP or Gosforth or whatever. Right now, I'd be happy to see a few upgrades, even without more seats. This is what I would do: 1. Replace all seats for black ones (grey ones starting to look dirty) Matt black would look ace IMO 2. Replace the gallowgate/east stand roof, so that it matches the rest. 3. Re-paint any grey area of the ground, I quite like what MA did with the brickwork at the front. 4. Change the East stand lettering to gold to match the "Newcastle United" lettering down by SBRs statue. 5. Revamp the dugouts 6. Revamp the corporate boxes (they are an eye sore) 7. Move the big screen or get rid. 8. Completely repaint the concourses, with big screens, artwork etc all the way around. 9. Build new kiosks, with those "4 at a time beer pumps". 10. New/cleaner toilets 11. Get a local catering company to do the bait and get some proper lush scran. I could go on forever but all of this should be a priority over a new stadium IMO.

Would go entirely against the whole point of hiring Dan Ashworth. After Howe, someone similar to Howe would follow, like Potter.

Bib theory: Murphy at RWB. Dubravka Schar Lascelles Burn Murphy Targett Shelvey Joelinton Fraser ASM Wood (I know bib theory is bullshit BTW.
-
He's always been a solid PL player. He's played in some shite sides which do alot of defending, which always makes defenders look worse. He's got a good engine, he's decent technically and his awareness is OK. What counts against him is that he's not much of leader on the pitch, he's quiet and unassuming, which puts him under the radar. People like Bruce don't like Manquillo's and Schars, they are too quiet, not one of the lads etc. I like him and I think he would be an able deputy to Trippier next season, even with our wealth.
-
He will never live up to anything at OT. Fair enough, he is their golden boy.
-
Why not? He needs saved from Man Utd.
-
Go on then, I will play: Leno/Henderson Tripper Botman Burn Targett Bissouma Bruno Raphinia Joelinton ASM Rashford I'm sure there are better players out there but I based mine off players I'm familiar with. Before anyone says we can do better than Targett/Burn/Joelinton etc, I'm aware of that but didn't want to pick anyone who I hadn't actually seen play.

"Right back you say? Actually, I think my ankle is feeling OK.."

Got loads of their stuff. It's really smart. Then again, I'm not used to wearing Prada or owt. Also, for whatever reason, its good value. Constant sales online.
-
Actually one of the main reasons he should be let go is because he's never fit.
-
Yes, sadly. I'm no ITK, just happened across the news before a few others.
-
I just think that now is the time. We will be missing Trippier, we need a calming influence on the pitch. Howe just needs to be smart about who he drops and how he goes about it.
-
I sometimes find myself screaming at him but in the end I always forgive him because he's class. We are a better team with him, in spite of the odd tantrum/laziness/greediness. Opposition teams fucking hate playing against him.
-
Geordie Bri, he makes me cry. Geordie Bri, he makes cry.
-
If there is a god it will be 3 weeks max.

Chances are that Trippiers impact on the squad has already driven us to a new level. That level won't drop dramatically because he's not in the side, although we will of course suffer for not having a world class right back in our team. People have to remember the impact Burn, Targett and Wood (to a lesser extent) have had on the side. We also haven't pressed the Bruno button yet. Which will be transformative to our team.
