What's scared got to do with it, it would be a stupid decision. If you were chairman, you would not do it.
-
Well we could invest loads of money in shite (Labour) or Sell a couple of players and invest in nothing (Tories)

The guy who was holding the baby used to be assistant manager at Durham tesco, he got sacked for nicking t.v's.

I agree with the sentiment that Boateng would be a good signing. If we sign anyone of that quality/potential quality in centre midfield, i will be content come the start of next season. Senderos is a good shout BTW, how old is he?
-
WHEN Benitez goes, i suspect that Liverpool will hire a very good manager to replace him. There's a little Portugese fella that is desperate for a return to England.
-
Didn't i see a thread not long ago called, "Given beaten easily from long range again"?
-
Although i agree with Skirge that most of the articles are completely made up, i suspect 15m isn't far off.

I'd class Hall as a back up signing in case everything goes tits up in our transfer plans. Should we still be in need for another centre half, as back up come august 31st, then we will give Hall a ring. I'd also put Harewood in this bracket.

It wouldn't suprise me for this club to do something amazing, yet daft, to blow their kitty on just one player. However, it was only a matter of time before silly season began and people started speculating on attracting bigger targets than we realistically can. Hopefully this nonesense will die down and we can concentrate talking about realistic targets. BTW, has Boateng already agreed a move from Pompey or is he available?

Wouldn't be shocked to see City to come back in for Kaka, if they get in the top four. They'd be stupid enough to look over any perceived injury problems.
-
Premiership for dummies, lesson 1: When playing the top four (and Spurs), expect the refereeing decisions to go the way of the opposition... and the media to agree with them.
-
It speaks volumes of Hughton's impeccable media skills that David Craig is now reporting on the races, instead of us. There was a day in the recent past when Craig was a permenant fixture outside our stadium.
-
I mentioned this the other day, people said the same thing about Cardiff, Barnsley etc and we didn't exactly struggle. All things being equal, we will beat this lot.
-
I love to see Larrson here next year, he's on the brink of becoming a really good footballer.
-
Christ you lot are patronising bastards, he's not saying that he wasn't playing out of position or that he hasn't improved. O'Hara fits the bill IMO.
-
We will see, you thought Watford would beat us. Depends on the line up, if it's full strength, we will batter them.
-
Is he out of contract like?
-
Aye but having a poor midfield will affect the performance of the back four.
-
He'd be a marked improvement on Harewood.

Are you disputing his talent? Assuming you are of course reffering to his alleged drinking problems, why is it impossible for a youngster to turn his career around? There's nothing to suggest he has a bad attitude (i don't think), therefore i'd like to think we are club that is prepare to give a talented youngster a chance. If we can sort out a reasonable deal, he'd be a decent signing for us. Bad attitude? What about the fact he got himself into the mess that he was by putting on a lot of weight, and getting pissed for 8 months? He's also just been out for a year, to take him would be crazy. You not alot about alcoholism don't you? That's why i reffered to signing him as a chance, not as a number one transfer target FFS.
-
Aye you are right, because he hasn't got competition for his place has he? Christ.

I think we will be looking at players like; Johnson, O'Hara, Noble, Cleverley etc as well as a couple of out-of-the-blue foreign players like Jonas. Which IMO is the correct route to go down.
