Haven't we got a good home record against Chelsea? This will be the first time in 2 years that I want us to do well. After 70 years of living and breathing NUFC the last 2 years have been so hard to take
-
Is there anyone we haven't been linked with yet?
-
We are still chasing Rafa
-
I think when he was here he made a comment along the lines of 'I don't want to use my energy up running around defending, I want to use it for attacking'
-
New job for Bruce. They all keep telling us what a legend he is and one of the top managers in the last 100 years
-
I'd like to have Rafa back here, lay the foundations, get us going then become DOF
-
When Rafa came here we had a chairman willing to spend. Trouble is he lied
-
Looking like Rafa's trying to get the sack at Everyon
-
A good result. These players are totally devoid of confidence because of Bruce and it will take time. I thought that the shape and discipline was a bit better and certainly an improvement. ASM looked like he was pining for Steve Bruce and wasn't enjoying working to a plan

It took Everton a long time and a lot of meetings before deciding to go with Rafa. Maybe he was demanding a buy out clause be put in his contract if certain approaches were made and Everton weren't happy about it but buckled in the end. Wishful thinking I know but so was the takeover

I'm sure that Amanda will have kept in close contact with Rafa

The last time I went to Palace was when I took my dad and it was the day that Tony Green picked up the injury that ended his career. He was one of the best midfielders I had ever seen
-
When he came here he said he was looking to come up with some new ideas and that it would be up to the head coach wether he listened or not
-
I think it was in the Daily Mail this morning. Could have been in one of Craig Hopes articles, he wrote several

A Villa fan summed it up when he said that you have to experience what it's like having Bruce as your manager to understand just how bad he is
-
Bruce managed for 1000 games, never improved and learned nothing.
-
Fantastic news, I can get behind my team again
-
Any sign of Bruce at the training ground?
-
I don't know how he's got the front to even turn up
-
I think that the success of any signings, in the football sense, is greatly influenced by the manager. That was proved here with Schar, Fernandez and Lejune who proved to be excellent buys but who are now ditched or dropped by the current manager. Virtually every player has has got worse under Bruce
-
Paul Lambert looked like he could go on to be a good manager when he was at Wycombe Wanderers. Unfortunately he has gone consistently downhill since.
-
We need money spent to buy a manager, not players. A decent manager would keep this side up without spending big in January

Not keen on some of the names being bandied around. Gerrard, Lampard, Martinez etc. Emery yes but prefer Conte. Whoever comes in has a big job on just knocking this lot into shape, mentally and physically
