How can the premier league bring in a rule that dictates how clubs outside of their jurisdiction manage their squads? I get that its incoming loans but other clubs are having restrictions placed on where they can place their assets which feels wrong. Its basically something that can only be in place for January and would be thrown out of court if challenged

I really don't see a downside to any scenario THIS year - after all we were never winning it this year. 1. We sneak second, get though to the first knockout round and probably get knocked out by Barca or Real. Its a glamour tie and we have had a good showing 2. We secure third, drop into the Europa and go deep getting good experience and coefficient points (also another avenue to potential CL qualification for next year) 3. We finish last freeing up the fixture list post Christmas and allow us to push on in the league and give the domestic cups a real good go. If we qualify again for next year then getting to the last 16 is probably the aim

Looking at the fixtures up to Jan its probably our most favourable set of games of the season. 12 to play including Bournemouth Everton Fulham Chelsea x2 Luton Forest

Best possible game for him to miss before Christmas now imo

Not sure it is that difficult for this one. as good as little Joe was, Howe will not start him twice in a week after the injury he’s had. We’ll see him 65-70 mins in -

you’d swap Trips and Tino there if you’re playing them both. Trips on the left to shit down Saka isn’t the worst idea on the world -
Looked like he was holding in a shit imo

We're getting Chelsea or West Ham away. Man U would have got Boro at home -
Little Jo is my 4 year olds favourite player, he's going to be stoked when I show him the highlights tomorrow. My 5 year old loves Miggy as well so its going to be a good breakfast

I'm sure listening to Neville is fun for you guys watching this, but Ando is an absolute delight on the wireless tonight -
I reckon that this years NUFC (without the injuries) would have had a shot at winning last years league with the way it played out. No chance this year
-
once the injuries settle down isn’t that Gordon? With Barnes being his deputy on the left (or big Joe)?
-
Our starting 11 is likely to be a Botman away from what would have started with everyone for anyway. we’ll very little on the bench to change things - basically Willock, and if Wilson needs a break it’s Gordon up top but no reason why we shouldn’t be looking at 3 points here, definitely not backs to the walll territory yet.

We ain’t winning the champions league so May as well drop down to Europa and have a good crack at that. In some ways it’s preferable as it’s another way to get back here next year -
I'd like to see the old 'I've had a Shitter' tope brought back for Wor Sandro to wear for the next 10 months
-
I know he could play, but look at what 12 months of pure training has done for big Jam

yes but accurate
